I LOVE this pull up bar - it is the only one I can use without pre-training! It lets me do modified pull ups where my feet can be on the ground while I'm out of shape, and it also lets you do traditional pull ups.
This is just like the above, but without the rotating handles - and the image shows the EASY MODIFICATION pull up, which is GREAT for starting out!

I LOVE these things, and they're easy to remove when it's time to hookup the baby swing to the pull up bar! They're also easy to slide out of the way when it's time to hang laundry on it :)
Additional Pull Up Bar Uses
Adding Carabiners to Ab Straps that don't have them - Old Ab Straps didn't have carabiners, and were more difficult to mount/dismount
You can buy a pair of carabiners and a pair of rings, to make it easy to attach your ab straps to the pull-up bar, even if they don't already have carabiners installed.

Slip the rings over the pull-up bar, and then use the carabiners to attach your ab straps to the rings.
