Boy, kitty. I was all set to post my answer, than I read yours. You're being far more gracious than I on this one and making me take a harder look at my opinions.
I too, live in Co. but have never been a fan of the Broncos. More of my issue is with Bronco fans and how rabid they are about the team. I can tell you, I'm totally sick of the Tebow hype already. Although he has proved his toughness and his will to win, which I admire, the man is a mediocre QB that will most likely be booed off the field by the same selfish fans that worship him now, as soon as they see through the hype. The same way every other QB has been since Elway.
As far as him being so public about his religious beliefs, I don't much care for it, but kitty's right. I just wonder how much media attention he would get if he did thank Santa Claus instead. Would the fans still adore him and convert his jersey to read "Jesus" on the back? Would the act of kneeling in prayer after every touchdown still be called, "Tebowing," if he thanked Zeus, Rama, Mohamed? I bet it wouldn't and there in, lay my objection.
