How do you feel about Tim Tebow now that the Broncos are out of the playoffs?

Have your feelings about Tebow changed now that the Broncos have been knocked out of the playoffs by the Patriots?

I thought Tebow should never have been drafted as a quarterback, he's a very good and dedicated athlete, he'd make a great H-back or run specialty plays.

He was totally unprepared strategically and he clearly needs to work on his passing game.  I still love him, though.

His interview last night says it all.   Neither success nor failure can change the true nature and character of a man with God's own heart.  Every gift given comes down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no shadow.  He will learn what he needs to, in God's timing.  We need to judge ourselves, how well do we do in our own lives, spiritually, professionally, relationally and ethically.  That matters first.  Just my opinion.

Tebow is a good guy... people let that get in the way of truly evaluating him which is why I give Merril Hodge from ESPN all the credit in the world... people have gotten him so hard from the beginning because he gave his HONEST opinion on Tebow from the get go. It just will NOT work... the guy has an AWFUL throwing motion, poor accuracy, and is too timid to pull the trigger at times. We saw what happens when defenses see that offense once and then play them again (fully prepared at what they're going to see) when the Patriots and Chiefs completely destroyed them second time around. That option will not work in the NFL long term, just too much speed on defenses and NO QB can take the abuse he would have to to run that offense long term. Hes just simply not a quality NFL starter at QB, thats not to say he doesnt have value. It's just not with the Broncos, the fans wont be satisfied using Tebow has a pretty much Wildcat QB in situational packages. That's all I (this is my PERSONAL opinion so nobody crucify me here lol).

His heart overcomes his inabilities. You cannot teach heart. No doubt he needs to work on his game, but he believes and so the players around him believe.

As far as yesterday's game goes, the Broncos lost Eric Decker who was Tebow's favorite target until last week when Thomas stepped up. Without Decker who runs great routes and reacts to the ball (and thus helps Tebow out), New England only had to focus on Thomas. Next year, Tebow will have an off-season to train and prepare and gain new skills. To help him out, Denver management has to draft or acquire more possession receivers like Decker who run precise routes and have great hands. I don't know if Tebow will get his teams to the Super Bowl, but Denver will contend. If Elway decides to make him a long-term back up, Tebow will be an excellent back up. But, where will they find a QB who has a heart like Tebow's?

More than that, where will they find a QB who loves the fans like Tebow?

Tebow is a young quarterback that has skills and could challenge the quarterbacks of Brees, Brady, and Manning. But like a fine wine good quarterbacks in order to be great needs time to establish but first he needs a strong leader to help and Fox isn't the right fit for Tebow. the last good quarterback that Fox had was Delhome and we know how that has played out.
If he quit football he would have a career  in the religious field he has made great connections and could excel in one or both chosen career fields.

He took the Broncos farther than all but 4 teams in the NFL. For a guy that doctors tried to abort before he was born and told his Mom he'd be severely damaged and probably kill her when he was born, he's done pretty well. If I were him I'd take a knee and thank God too! I'd see the Cowboys trade Tony Romo in for Tim Tebow in a heartbeat.

I feel the same way. He is not a prototypical QB, but he wins games. He won a higher percentage of games started this year than all but a few QBs. He took his team farther than 24 other starting QBs did this year. He will only get better and will be in the playoffs more times during his career. He is a winner.

My feelings have not really changed.  He's a mediocre quarterback at this point in his career.  Tebow did get the Broncos in the playoffs, however.  They were 1-4 when he took over for Kyle Orton, and most people figured they'd win 3-5 games like they did last year.  I don't think that the option can work as a staple long-term, but it can be an effective changeup.  He didn't really have a strong receiving corps to help him out, and they dropped quite a few balls when I watched.  Even Aaron Rodgers looked considerably worse yesterday because of dropped passes.  With an off-season and training camp, Tebow could improve.  He's won wherever he's been, which is more than many of the more traditional, mechanically sound quarterbacks can say.

While he played poorly against the Patriots, the loss cannot be blamed on him.  He did not give up 45 points.  Also, the line played pretty poorly.  Fourteen tackles for losses by the Patriots says much.

Hey! he's still young.  Give him a few more years.  I wouldn't be surprised if his Broncos are in the play-offs next year.

Aside from my tongue-in-cheek reference to something being the Tebow of 'such-n-such', I really don't have much of an opinion about the man.

I don't care for anyone bringing Jesus or God into sports. I think it's foolish for someone to say that God helped them win a game. God has no concern for helping one team win over another.

Tebow's kneeling prayer at touch-down reminds me of the over-righteous Pharisees who would make sure that they were in the public squares when it came time to pray at mid-day. They would raise their arms and make a showy display of their professed faith so that other people thought they were pious, but they were not impressing God to whom they were supposedly supposed to be praying.

I guess God liked the Patriots more.   :^)

I Love Tim Tebow.  I am so tired of my children only having thugs getting in trouble with the law and shooting themselves in the foot ect to look up to. Tim is a Great role model and I personally enjoy watching his will to win attitude. I think he will continue to improve as a QB and will be a force of nature in the future. Now the playoff game happened just as I predicted it would Tom Brady is just on another level right now and has too many weapns at his disposal.  15 is just getting started and will now finally have a full offseason to prepare.
