Well, I am not sure how we would enforce it. I just wonder if they should be required to wear protection.
Let's say, a channel with a high amount of views. Is it not reckless to operate firearms unsafely?
I just said they are not professional. Yes, it is reckless. Makes for good entertainment. But here's a thought. "What makes you think criminal's follow gun laws?" Not everyone is going to go by the rules, and monitoring it wouldn't be too disastrous.
But regardless of YouTube factor, there are reckless people around the world that use guns without protection or disregarding other safety precautions. The rules and policies are there, whether they are being filmed or not. They just choose to ignore
We have a gun problem in the United States. It's not the fact that we have guns.. It's the fact that kids are watching these videos on youtube, and are getting hurt. They see live people doing unsafe things. They think invincibility.
I understand that, but there are tools already in place for this. If you think a certain video represents a certain violation, YouTube allows you to report that video. On the other hand, due to the nature of the Internet, it's impossible to contain.
We have a disrespect of gun problem. If you would notice there are towns that require by law everyone to have a gun. Robbery is almost non-existent and no one has died from a gun in 25 years in one of those towns. It's all about respect.
It is, our problem. We have tons of kids going into the world with a misunderstanding of firearms.

Personally I think it should be required in every school. We had gun safety day when I was in school. My Dad took us to an NRA training center when I was old enough, about 7 or 8.
It was required for us in grade school, in order to be in ag classes extracurricular, you had to have hunter's safety classes.
