An eternal argument, and one which will go on for some time yet. They are both so far ahead of everyone else! Both have great days and occasionally of days.
Some say of Managers, Alex Ferguson being an exception, perhaps, that footballing style is so different in different countries, that one isn't truly great until he produces the form in different countries. Maurino has been successful in four countries.
Some say the same thing about footballers and Renaldo has succeeded in at least three countries. Guardiola is now succeeding in Bayern and so one is inclined to believe that Messi will succeed abroad. Yet so far, he has not tried this. I hesitate to let this take away from his superior ability, but it shows him as being less experienced, at least in a foreign sense.
Both have practically all the great qualities that we like to see: Tackling, drippling, speed, balance, running past defenders, SCORING Goals!
Who is the best? Sometimes Renaldo plays breath-taking football, and sometimes Messi does. This has been reflected in the fact that they have both won the Ballon'Dor. Much Love.
