Our motor home AC worked fine last summer but now the compressor tries to kick in but won't The fan runs. It smells like burning oil. I went on roof and found a puddle of yellowish liqued under AC. Should we try and get itrepaired or replace it.

My personal feeling with anything that has that type of problem, is to replace it. Of course, it depends on the cost. Sometimes it costs almost as much as a new item to repair something.
Don't like the sound of that burning oil smell though.....
