    I took my dog for her yearly check up two months ago, everything was fine but the vet said she...

    was a little over weight.  They recommended I put her on Purina Fit and Trim.  Two months later she began to not eat and throw up everything, even water.  So I took her to the vet and they ran blood test and found that she had liver diease, kidney disease, and diabietes.  Could this have anything to do with the dogfood?  It is the only thing that is different in her daily routine!     I'm sorry you experienced this. I've always had dogs - one of them died of liver disease. He was only 2years old. There is nothing wrong with the food you gave him. Those are diseases that are often related to the breed, or to the in-breeding that goes on with some dogs. Good luck with this. Find different opinions if you are not convinced with your vet.
