According to the Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF), only 6 football player who scores more than 1000 goals during their career. This goals count from club, national, and friendly matches.

All time top scorer is Josef Bican, an Austrian-Czech football striker. He score 1468 goals in 918 matches. He was a member of the Austrian Wunderteam.

2nd place goes to Gerd Müller, a German football striker during 1966 - 1974 with 62 matches and 68 goals. He score 1461 goals in 1216 matches. Gerd Müller also 1970 FIFA World Cup top scorer with 10 goals.

3rd place is Arthur Friedenreich, a Brazilian football striker. He score 1329 goals in 1239 matches. He also the first Afro-Brazilian professional football player.

4th place is Pelé, a Brazilian football forward and attacking midfielder. He score 1284 goals in 1375 matches. Everyone knows who is Pelé :)

5th place is Franz Binder, an Autrian football striker. He score 1006 goals in 756 matches.

6th place is Romário, a Brazilian football striker. He score 1000 goals in 1220 matches. He also won 1994 FIFA World Cup.
