We already had one game I want to forget about.
I'm having difficulty getting motivated for the action today, but here's some games that I might pay some attention to:
Cowboys @ Ravens -- how many passes will Tony Romo complete to Ed Reed?
Colts @ Jets -- will Andrew Luck or Tim Tebow show why they will make the Hall of Fame?
Giants @ 49ers -- whoever wins will likely be proclaimed the best team in the NFC, at least for a week.
Packers @ Texans -- the Packers will be 3 games behind the Bears (bye) and the Vikings (if they beat the Redskins) in the loss column if they lose.
So far Tony hasn't completed any to Ed. I agree with you on most of of this stuff besides Tim Tebow and Hall of Fame in the same sentence!
Yeah, but the Cowboys still found ways to suck and lose a game to the
Ravens they could have won. Poor time management at the end or they would have had another play to get a closer field goal.
I am watching the vikings @ redskins. I really want the Vikings to lose, so the Bears can lead the division. I would love for the Pack to lose, but I don't like the Texans being undefeated.
Your wish came true! RG3 is the man, at least today. If I were you, I'd be a whole lot more interested in the Packers losing than the Texans being undefeated, at least for now. The Bears can always put a whooping on Houston in Week 10 to end the undefeated streak.
The NFC North is an intriguing division. Any one of those four teams could come out on top, and I wouldn't be all that surprised.
Yeah, I would much rather have the Pack lose. I hate them anyway, there is no way I could ever root for them in any situation. Not looking good right now though.
It is an intriguing division, but the Bears will come out on top!!!
Discount Double Check moves did it :-)
Even "The Watt" can't stop him !!
You should have told me his Discount Double Check Moves would rule the day. Color me stupid. I didn't play him on my fantasy team and he throws 6 touchdown passes.
Hey Elani-Lee, I'll be rooting for Da Bears to win the division. Although I'll also have to root for Aaron Rodgers to throw 6 TD passes every game. I got some ground to make up on my 2 fantasy teams.
Week 6 in the NFL and I could not be happier!
The Jets came to play and boy did they look good. Ground and Pound is alive and well and its all about the green and white offense that rushed for 252 yards. Shonne Greene had a career-high 161 yards and three touchdowns. And they are finally figuring out what to do with Tebow. TT helped the Jets take a 21-6 lead just before halftime on a drive that was kept alive by some trickery.
The New York Jets are in first place in the AFC East . .thank you Seattle for beating the pants off of Brady who knows a little confidence boost like the boys had today and Foxboro just may be uprooted next week. It is the NFL and on any given Sunday.............
Moving on, to add glory to a great Sunday, the Giants unveiled the blue print on how to beat the Niners. And look who is now in sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
Yanks lost but the Knicks won their second preseason game. . Gotham will sleep well tonight!
I'm not surprised the Giants and Jets won, but I am surprised how they won. Dominating performances. The one time I root for the Cowboys, and they blow it. Seawhawks win over the Patriots was sweet. Looks like Aaron Rodgers is back to being Aaron Rodgers.
So who is the best team in the NFL now? Tough to figure.
I also rooted for Cowboys to win, for my Steelers sake :-)
Good week for wavegirl, NY teams soar!!
I would like to see the Cowboys and the 49 ers. This would be an exciting game!
Yeah, that would be about as exciting as a funeral.
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just so ticked off at the Cowgirls for blowing that game to the Ratbirds yesterday.
So we wrap up another wild and wacky week in the NFL with a crazy game last night.
Now that was certainly surprising that the Broncos looked totally pathetic in the first half and totally awesome in the second half. And vice versa for the Chargers.
But my biggest surprise of Week 7 has to be the Jets. After all the heat they were taking, and to turn it around with a dominating win was somewhat of a shock, at least to me. And now if only they can beat the Patriots this week that would be sweet.
Yeah, the Packers and Giants surprised with dominating wins over two teams that many are picking for the Super Bowl, but we knew the Packers and Giants can play some really good football at times. The Jets, who would have thunk it (besides wavegirl22)?
On to Week 7 and more of the same. Thursday night matchup Seattle at San Francisco should be interesting to get us started. Seahawks coming off a big win and 49ers coming off a big loss.
What an awesome comeback that was. Very entertaining game.
Just when you think the Jets got nothing they come and show you what Ground and Pound truly means.
Its funny that when the Jets win the friends that love to pour salt on my wounds disappear, yet on the weeks when they loss ugly they cant wait to text me things like why do you torture yourself! Ha ha even my brother told me that its disrespectful to the team of my birthright .. ha ha of course these friends and family members are all Giants fans.
I still scratch my head and dont understand why I am the only one that can handle repping both teams. . .
Hey, I root for both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Passion.
So who won the battle but lost the war in Week 6?
I think it may be the Ravens, what with "winning" (I use that word loosely since the Cowgirls lost the game) the game against Dallas but losing Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb for the season.

Where would you rank his performance among the greatest playoff performances of the past?

Tampa Bay at Minnesota tonight.Okay, if you can't get excited about that, you can get excited about what the Steelers will be wearing against the Redskins on Sunday. Right, 1934 throwback uniforms. Talk about making a fashion statement.

Here we go again.Seattle at San Francisco tonight to start us off. 49ers coming off a real bad hair day and 26-3 humiliation at home to the Giants. Seahawks gave Tom Brady a real bad hair day and squeaked out a 1-point win against the Patriots.49ers favored by 7 1/2. That sounds high to me. I'm...
