They look good, watching Hard Knocks its hard to go against them.. But there are a lot of good teams out there. I can't pick the Jets over the field, no way.

It is possible. With a strong defense, a fairly strong albeit inconsistent qb, and a good tandem of running backs they have a good shot. However, the Steelers emerged from Big Ben's exile with a 4-1 record and now he's back. And, New England is back on the winning trail, so it's going to be tough.

The Saints are considerably worse than last season. They'll lose this game by 20 points.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys will never...can I say that again...never... win the Super Bowl with Tony Romo as quarterback.

I am truly sorry though that Romo got hurt yesterday and this year's problems are not his fault.

The Ravens team that needed overtime and a favorable non-whistle from the officials to beat the Bills? I think that team needs to some major flaws out before they are Super Bowl-worthy. I thought the Ravens had a good defense, but they gave up over 500 yards to the Bills! The Bills hadn't had a 300-yard passer in 4 years before this Sunday. If the Bills can exploit the Ravens, I think other teams are going to do the same, but with a lot more talent.

I didn't watch the game until this evening, but that was just great defense. Even with all the penalties, they still lost by just one point to the team I predicted they would beat in the AFC Championship. I'll stick with the Jets at this point.

The Jets are all hype ... They got some skills , but I gotta agree with Ray Lewis! Stop talkin and start playing. They are 0-1 and that is all the matters at the moment. No sense in talking about the Superbowl when your 0-1. Maybe if they get to 4-1 , 5-1 we could have a legitamite conversation about the Jets as a Superbowl contender.

What's with this unhealthy fixation on who will win what and which team will win which championship?

The important thing is that the players have fun out there, play in the spirit of healthy competition, and most importantly not get hurt.

That's what we teach our children but that concept is out the door as soon as they reach the high school level.  Then it becomes a competition for college that competition is fierce.
The pro level is a whole different story when the minimum pay for a pro American football player is $750,000 a year it becomes all about the money.

For the OP I vote for Da Bears!

While we're talking about football, how about the dominance of the AFC this season? Look at any power rankings from ESPN, CNNSI, or the likes right now and the only 2 NFC teams that are in the top 9 or 10 are the Giants and Falcons. The AFC has been the dominant conference in football for a decade now, but I'm not sure if they've ever had a season like this. I almost feel sorry for Fox because they're stuck with so many horrible games to broadcast this year. Usually the Cowboys are their big sell, but the Cowboys have what, 1 win this season and we're almost to November!

The NFC had been making a lot of progress the past two years. I thought we were getting ready for it to turn the other way again after last season. But the NFC is just dismal this season. I don't think even one of the top NFC teams could win any AFC division except the AFC West.

Definitely a possibility, for me what I'd love to see is a New York Giants / New York Jets Superbowl, imagine the hype and atmosphere for that! Both teams are looking OK so it's definitely possiblt
