How to Build a Go Kart

Updated on August 18, 2015

I Know You Want to Drive a GoKart

There's an awesome feeling you have when you drive fast on something that is open and small. Go Karts give you the adrenaline rush that you can't get in a normal sized car. In a road ready car, you have to follow traffic laws and speed limits. There are walls and a roof that keep you from feeling how truly fast you are going.

Things like driving with the petal to the floor and cutting people off and fish tailing around corners is something I think everyone should experience at least once in their life. It is amazing and worth the time and effort it takes to get into one.

Go Kart Fun - They are Not Just for Kids Anymore

Before we Build Our Own Go Kart, I wanted to show you how much fun riding these things can be. There are people out there who spend a lot of time, money and effort to build and race Go Karts. You may want to build one as a hobby, but I wanted to show you what these people have done and how much fun they are having.

Now The Danger with Go Karts

If you are Going to Build One, you need to know there is a danger when driving or racing these machines. Since most of them don't have roll cages, if you flip one, you could be seriously hurt or even killed. Watch these videos to see what I am talking about.

I have been wanting to build a go kart and this totally inspired me to really do it! Have you ever seen a go kart with a mini cargo carrier? I think I am so going to put one on there!
