The team was founded in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League and joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL Merger.

Home field: Arrowhead Stadium
Uniform colors: Red, Gold, and White
Helmet design: Red helmet with white arrowhead bearing initials K.C.

Popular gameday traditions: Fans screaming all game (Arrowhead Stadium has been rated as the loudest stadium in the NFL) - occasional use of "War Chant" popularized by the Florida State Seminoles-popular mascot "KC Wolf" - Raider Hater Week (parts of town painted red to celebrate the oldest AFC rivalry) - During the end of of The Star-Spangled Banner, instead of singing "...and the home of the brave" fans will instead sing "...and the home of the CHIEFS!"

      I wouldn't know them if they were sitting in my living room. lol. I haven't watched football in years. Heck, I didn't even know this weekend was the super bowl! Regardless of my lack of Chiefs knowledge, this is a great lens.

      I'm definitely glad about what has happened over the past couple years, starting with the Pioli hire. Things will only get better, that is... if there isn't a lockout.
