Squidoo with LSU!!
I know I'm not the only LSU Tiger fan out there, but I just couldn't help myself. September 1st is coming soon! This lens is your One Stop Shop for EVERYTHING LSU! Growing up in Louisiana, or anywhere in the South for that matter, you KNOW who the LSU FIGHTIN TIGERS are! DUNT DUNT DUUUUNNA (LSU fans know what I'm sayin here). They represent Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La. and are part of the SEC. Their current coach is Les Miles(who I crush REALLY hard for) and their school mascot is Mike the Tiger. Every LSU Tiger fan bleeds PURPLE and GOLD. When you go to the Tiger stadium, you will ALWAYS come back. It's the battle-ground where we all become ONE and NOBODY is gonna come in our house and push us around! Whew, Is it hot in here? Sorry, got a little carried away. All I ask is for you to come to ONE game, just ONE and you'll be hooked, I PROMISE! Doesn't matter where you're from, you'll be pricked with LSU spirit, I guarantee it! So, grab some friends and come on down to good old Louisiana for some fun!
Our Alma Mater:
Where stately oaks and broad magnolias
shade inspiring halls,
There stands our dear Old Alma Mater
who to us recalls
Fond memories that waken in our hearts
a tender glow,
And make us happy for the love
that we have learned to know.
All hail to thee our Alma Mater,
molder of mankind,
May greater glory, love unending
be forever thine.
Our worth in life will be thy worth
we pray to keep it true,
And may thy spirit live in us, forever L-S-U.
Who we are: - Fighting Tigers...Bayou Bengals
Mad Hatter: Les Miles - The ONLY man who can make "eating grass" look cool.
So you're here, now what?
After you park and walk about a mile, you'll start to see the tailgating crowds.
Tailgating is done all over the country, but at LSU it's an art, a FINE art. Most people get to Tiger Stadium 2 days early just to get a good spot and set everything up. There's no telling what you might see with these Cajun Couyons(crazies), but I'll tell you one thing, there will be LOTS of beer, the BEST Southern food you ever thought about eatin, friendly people offering you the shirt off their back, and "Louisiana Saturday Night" playin' in the background. It's somethin' you can't miss! And you better get there early! Look below for some must-haves when goin to a tailgating party.
