Location of Cactus League Spring Training Fields

The Cactus League is the spring training Major League Baseball league in Arizona. As a Chicago baseball fan, the prospect of going to Arizona in the middle of winter is very appealing. Unlike the Grapefruit League in Florida, the teams are located fairly close to each other allowing you to go to multiple ballparks in a single week.

Many teams share spring training facilities, so if you go visit one team you may actually get to see two. Another trick, since the stadiums are so close together, you may be able to find cheaper tickets to an away game of your favorite team. To find tickets to spring training, opening day, the playoffs, or the world series, check out Ticket Network, which has a great interactive feature of ballparks showing you the view from your seats.

Ah, Spring Training! One of the first signs that spring is (almost) here. I'd love to go to Spring Training -- wouldn't that be a great way to spend a week or two in early spring? But I'll just have to listen to some games on the radio and wait for opening day. Thanks for great lens, and I hope your team makes a run at a pennant this year!

I remember when the White Sox would play in Florida in the Grapefruit League for their preseason. I'm surprised no one talks about the White Sox / Cubs match-up in the Cactus League!
