my nba predictions for the 2011/2012 season

Updated on December 16, 2011

I love basketball. No matter how you cut it, i love it and if there were no season this year i would be a very unhappy person! Well not really but you get the point. With so many on going stories of this up coming season, it would take me another hubs space to write it all

However as advertised, the following are my picks for the 2011/2012 season. From rookie of the year to the finals M.V.P. so here we go

Rookie of the year : For some reason, i really think it will be a co- award between kemba walker , and kyrie irving. I feel that they are both going to lead bad teams into the right direction and they are going to add even more great young guards to the number that we have already

K.Irvings projected stats : 18.7 ppg 7.1 apg 2.6 rpg 1.3 spg 46fg%

k.walkers projected stats 16.9 ppg 6.8 apg 3.5rpg 1.7 spg 47fg%

6th man of the year. This one is a tough one. I ll have to get back to this to see if lamar odom or jamal crawford are starting. If they are starting i d give it to jason terry and the new look mavs.

J.Terry Stats : 17.6 ppg 2.5 apg 2.6 rpg 0.3 spg 47.4 fg%

Defensive player of the year : It has to be Dwight howard. Unless josh smith or LeBron James can have a crazy year on the defensive end, this award is going to be a no brainer.

D.Howards stats 25.2 ppg 2.1 apg 13.2 rpg 3.4 bpg 53fg%

MVP: I think Kobe bryant will take the cake! I think that his come back from his surgery and this new laker team will cause him to really step up his game!

Kobe bryants stats: 28.2 ppg 4.9 ppg 4.9 rpg 0.7spg 47.8 fg%

NBA finals!!!! I am a die hard knicks and laker fan. While i would love to see both of those teams meet up and decide a winner, i would say that the lakers will make it to play the heat.. LA in 6

Nice predictions! I doubt Kemba or Kyrie are going to end up with fg%'s north of 45, though. Also, our "new Laker team" is so far just a shadow of what it's been, with Lamar gone and Kobe/Pau only getting older. Plus a plethora of pretty lackluster guards, and not a lot of depth at Pf/C. We can always hope though...
