For those of you who don't know, I've supported Sheffield Wednesday football (aka soccer!) team since I was younger. Having grown up in Sheffield, it was the team to support back in my school days and I've followed them even since.

Anyway, we've had some HUGE highs and lows (probably more of these!) in the past few years and it surely took it's toll on many of us loyal supporters. Right now though, 2013 is a great year for us. We're slowing getting back on track and improving all of the time which is FANTASTIC!!

I was talking to my brother a few weeks ago (also a Sheffield Wednesday fan) and we realised that the best SWFC products out there are actually the historic ones that people are getting rid of. If you're anything like me, you would have had your Sheffield Wednesday hero on the back of your shirt when you were younger! My favourite player was Chris Woods, former England goalkeeper. This is probably quite a surprising choice but when I was little he was my clear favourite! I even had the goalkeeping kits!!!

Anyway, who was your favourite and why?

This has to be the highlight for most of us Sheffield Wednesday fans over the past decade! On the final day of the season, playing at home against Wycombe Wanders, the Owls gained promotion over their local neighbours Sheffield United!
