Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper

Updated on December 2, 2014

Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper Review

The Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper is a budget priced, well regarded electronic step machine that takes up very little room. Measuring 16 1/4" x 12 1/4" x 12 1/4", it weighs just 19.2lbs, so you'll have no problem moving it to another spot in the house should the need arise.

Constructed of sturdy steel, this great little stepper is strong and durable and it will see you through many a workout.

If you're busy, as most of us are these days, one feature of the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper I'm sure you'll appreciate is that it comes with two resistance bands that can be attached to the front of the stepper, enabling you to exercise your upper body as you step, so your entire body gets a workout at the same time.

The machine's hydraulic cylinders make for smooth and comfortable stepping, while the large, textured foot pedals provide good stability and grip. Another handy feature not always seen on a stepper in this price range is the skid resistant rubber floor protectors.

The Stamina stepper machine has a monitor that displays the number of steps taken overall and every 60 seconds, the length of the workout and the calories burned.

Coming with a 1 year warranty on its frame and a 90 day parts warranty, the Stamina InStride Pro Stepper is a great option for anyone who wants to work out at home but doesn't have a lot of spare space, or a lot of money to spend on exercise equipment.

Don't let its size deceive you, this mini stepper will give you a lot of bang for your buck.

Its resistance level is equal to the resistance level of many far higher priced steppers, so even those who are used to working out will find it gives them a challenging workout.

Stamina Electronic Stepper - Pros & Cons

Pros:-

  • Low Price:

If you want to buy a step machine but don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for it, the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper could be just what you are looking for. Budget priced, it will provide you with as good a workout as many of the more expensive models.

  • High Resistance:

Most budget priced steppers offer very little resistance, so to get a good workout the user has no choice but to step very quickly. The Stamina Instride Pro Stepper is different in that it comes standard with a high level of resistance. This results in a very challenging workout which tones and shapes the legs more effectively than most other low cost steppers, and it also burn calories faster.

  • Easy Assembly:

You may have bought a piece of exercise equipment in the past and had trouble setting it up. This won't be the case with the Stamina InStride Electronic Stepper. Set up takes less than 5 minutes, with no tools needed, so you can be stepping in less time than it takes to drink a latte.

  • Compact:

The Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper is amongst the smallest steppers on the market. When not in use it can be stored under the bed, or in a closet. When you're ready to use it again, you can simply take it out of storage, carry it to where you want to exercise, jump on and start stepping.

Cons:-

  • Squeaks Initially:

A drawback of the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper is that the first few times it is used it squeaks quite loudly. This noise lessens the more the stepper is used, and anyone who is overly sensitive to noise can get around the problem by popping on a set of headphones and listening to music the first few times they use the stepper.

  • Resistance Not Adjustable

Another drawback of this model that unlike is the case with many of the more expensive steppers, the level of resistance on this one is not adjustable. This should not prove to be a problem for anyone wanting a challenging workout as this stepper provides that, however anyone wanting a low resistance workout will not find this model suitable for their requirements..

Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper - Summary

If you don't have a lot of money to spend on a stepper, the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper would make a great choice. It's very reasonably priced, easy to set up and it gives an effective workout.

Being a budget priced stepper, it does lack certain features that the more expensive steppers have, and there's no getting around that it squeaks quite loudly the first few times it is used. This does ease off though, and it will quieten down to a normal level.

There are currently close to 120 Amazon reviews up for this exercise machine, with 73% of people having rated it 5 stars or at least 4. If you'll be happy with a 'no frills' stepper that gives a workout that is as effective as far more expensive models, the Stamina InStride Pro Electronic Stepper would make an excellent choice.
