Tailgate Party At Home Sun. Feb.3 6:30 PM

Updated on October 11, 2013

No Tickets To The Game / No Problem

When you can't get to the Game, Bring the game home. Have a Tailgate Party at home.

All you need

* makeshift tailgate,

* great food and drink,

* maybe a grill outside

* some cool decorations,

* pre-game events,

* maybe a half time show

* and of course a TV or two (big screen).

Now invite your friends,

Plan it and they will come.

So let's start planning.

Go Jaguars

Go Volunteers (I like them too) I think it's because their name is Volunteer

Go Gators.

Brenda shared this picture on FB. As you can see she and Richard are Big Jaguar Fans.

How far would you go? Would you remove your tailgate?

It's Half Time

Let the kids be a part of the party.

During the first half of the game while they are in Another Room teach the little ones a quick cheer.

You may remember a cheer that goes something like this:

Daddy Daddy He's our man.

If he can't do it nobody can.

Go Daddy.

I think every Daddy would be proud.

3rd Quarter Kickoff

Check your bets, stretch, take a last break and grab your seat.

Enjoy your friends.

Jacksonville Jaguars Are #1 In My Book

Throughout the year the players volunteer their time and skills to Habijax, Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville, FL.

I applaud the many ways they give back to the community. You can visit Habijax website for more information.

This is one of many pictures of the Jaguars and New Home Owner # 27 in the center Roderick

JEA Helps Habijax - So Can You

A special personal note: That short little package of Dynamite dressed in blue on the left side of the screen is my sister, Deb Rhodes. I am so proud of her hard work with Habijax. How many homes have you helped build, Deb? Too many to count and she still remembers every new home owner.

My Hard Hat is off to you, Deb.

Two Minute Warning

Before everyone scatters call a huddle and pass out small trash bags for the last play of the tailgate party.

Ask everyone to help tidy up your home stadium.

There's no reason you should have all the fun, let your guests help (especially non Jaguar fans).

Who invited them anyway? Just kidding.

And leave some of your plays and comments. Leave a link to your party pictures if you want to share.

Please autograph the playbook

      Love the tailgating ideas especially since we have little kids we can't make it to a lot of games.

      I love Brenda and Richard's tailgate table, and the idea of a "tailgate" party at home! I may have to make this happen at my house some weekend soon.

      @Faye Rutledge: Thank you again for blessing my lens. Being a 2 month old squid, I appreciate the likes and comments. My only writing experience before here was in my journals. I am updating

      Tailgate Party At Home later today. This months BHG has some football party ideas. They share a link where you can personalize football tickets as invitations. Here is the link if you want to look and add to your great party ideas.
