A simple definition a bamboo fly rod is a fly fishing rod that is made out from bamboo which many people also refers to as a cane. This type of fishing rod is the most preferred by anglers because it carries within it a combined strength and versatility due to its high density fiber content.

Awesome picture of the rainbow trout! I haven't been fishing since I was a kid, as I don't like the taste of fish, but it certainly looks like you know what you're doing. Great lens.

Nice. I came back to show my husband one of your video clips and noticed the Cabella's ad on the top (adsense). I'm doomed. I can't walk in to that store without walking out broke!

A great lense on fly fishing. The Queen Mother used to do this in Scotland. Wonder if I should give it a go. Hear it could be quite relaxing.

Fly casting is wonderfully elegant and therapeutic. When I was younger I remember only wanting one thing for Christmas - a belly boat - so I could get out in the lake with my uncles.

You are clever to use video to teach this subject; it makes more sense to watch someone do the actions rather than just reading about it and trying to imagine it.

I remember taking a class in high school that included learning how to flyfish---of course we were in a field outside the school--no actual water or fish to catch. It takes a lot of practice to get right though.

Well done! I know nothing about flyfishing but I love to watch it! Movie, the River Runs Through It, had some great flyfishing scenes. Often in mountains of NC, I catch a glimpse of a flyfisherman in action. Beautiful, graceful!
