How Do You Grow Your Hair Faster?

Just like anything else in this world, hair grows fastest when it is getting the proper care and nutrients. In other words, if your hair is healthy.

Keeping your hair healthy isn't that different from keeping your entire body healthy.

A lot about of how to grow your hair faster is about keeping healthy, though there are supplements you can take and shampoos to use that are supposed to grow your hair faster and thicker then it is currently.

These may or may not be the best option for you. They can often be the simplest option but they don't work for everyone and can be expensive to buy.

There are also mixtures called hair masks that you can make at home, or purchase, to keep your hair healthier. They are very good for moisturizing your hair and giving it back it's natural shine. Hair masks are great and do help a whole bunch, but they are not the end all be all just one method that can help you along your way to growing and maintaining healthy, long hair.

Tips to Grow Out Your Hair Fast

Diets That Will Make Your Hair Grow Faster

Diets. I know we all hate that word, however in this case it is not as bad as you think. I am not going to tell you that you have to stop eating your favorite foods. A lot of people think that to be healthier they must completely stop eating the unhealthy food that they normally consume. This isn't entirely true. It is much easier and almost as effective for you to add food to your diet and not just stop eating what you love.

While yes, it is true that the doughnut will not help your hair grow fast but you can still enjoy your doughnut provided that you can also add to your diet the essential fatty acids are really good for strong, healthy, shiny, silky soft hair. Adding a handful of nuts and or seeds like walnuts or sunflower seeds to your diet can help you greatly when it comes to growing your hair faster.

However you should know that cooked nuts and seeds (or roasted) are not nearly as good at giving you the nutrients your hair needs. It is best to eat then raw if you can find them that way. So you know, most nuts and seeds unless stated otherwise are cooked. Don't like seeds and nuts? Try avocados! They have similar fatter acids that your hair needs.

Another thing you can add you your diet that will help your hair grow fast and be healthier is fresh raw foods. Apples, oranges, cucumbers, tomatoes and other such fruits and veggies are great for giving you vitamins as well as live water.

While most people think that water is what you should drink to stay hydrated, it isn't entirely true for all people. Water can actually dehydrate some people. Unless of course, it is live water. The water from a bottle or the tap is not, but if you want to make that water hydrating again add some fresh lemon or lime juice to it! The water in a fruit or vegetables (applies to raw produce only) is raw.

So how do you get the right amount of live water? The easiest way to manage this is to just squirt some fresh lemon or lime into your water. Doing this makes the entire glass or bottle of water live again, and then it re-hydrates you. This is only true f you buy a lemon or lime and cut it open and use a slice to put in your water, pre-juiced lemon and lime bottles are not raw and will not make your water live.

Drinking at least part part of your daily water raw will keep you hydrated which will help your hair grow faster.

Lifestyle Changes Can Make Hair Grow Faster

That sounds a little strange doesn't it? However it is true, changing certain things in your life style can actually make your hair grow faster. We will start this off by simply noting that drinking alcohol beverages will actually make your hair grow slower because it is unhealthy for your body. However you still can grow your hair long while drinking and or smoking, it will just take longer.

Now let us talk about the next tip on how to grow your hair faster..

Sleep! Your hair actually grows fastest while you are sleeping. Just like your body heals faster when you are sleeping or children get taller when the are sleeping your hair grows while you are asleep. This means that a proper amount of sleep every night is an important part of growing your hair long.

Different people need different amounts of sleep but as a general rule the average person needs about 8 hours of sleep. Some adults like to sleep less other more. As a general rule teenagers need more sleep then adults. Teenagers commonly sleep for 10-12 hours a day. Teenagers need the more sleep to get the same effect of hair growth that an adult would with less sleep.

Getting exercise everyday can help hair growth for the simple reason that is helps the overall health of your body, therefor making your hair healthier as well.

Another thing that a lot of people do not know is that for a healthy body the body needs vitamin D, which the other real place you can get this vitamin is from sunlight. A lot of things claim that they have vitamin D in them, but anyone who knows vitamins can tell you that you simply cannot have an artificial type of vitamin D that will actually give your body the nutrients it needs. Vitamin D is a great way to not only keep your whole body healthy but to grow your hair much much faster.

Myths About Growing Hair Faster

A lot of people have some misconceptions on how they have to treat their hair because of a lot of how to grow your hair faster tips can be sort of silly. So I really think that you need to just use the ones that work best for you and if you see a tip on how to grow your hair faster in multiple resources on hair care then it is more likely to be true than if you only have seen in it one place.

While in general you should be nice to your hair if you wish for it to grow faster, a lot of the thing that people tell you to do are simply not needed.

One of the most common long hair myths is that you should wrap your hair in cloth before going to bed. While I suppose if you had really long hair, thigh long or longer maybe this could have some truth to it, for the normal mid back long hair you really do not need to do this. Especially if your hair is healthy, using the guidelines written earlier in this article.

Some people say you cannot brush your hair when it is wet, I personally do not believe this to be true, but I think it may vary from person to person.

Hair Care: Growing Your Hair Fast By Taking Care Of Your Hair

This isn't all wacky tricks to grow your hair longer! You can get your hair to grow faster by taking care of it.

Remember if you have split ends, get your hair trimmed right away. Split ends are not just unattractive but they can split further up your hair decreasing the health of all of your hair not just the ends.

People will often say that you can repair split ends. I have not found anything that actually does this. The best option I have found it to trim off the ends before they split any further up and then use a hair mask a couple times a week and reduce the use of heating tools so that the hair can re-hydrate. split ends come from dry hair.

To keep your hair growing faster get it trimmed ever 6-8 weeks. You don't have to cut much, just the ends.

There's so much to learn about how to grow your hair faster and hopefully you are finding some new ideas, or ideas that you're going to try on this hub.

How To Grow Your Hair Faster... Wait, What About My...

Heat is extremely hard on your hair, even when you are using heat protectant before curling or straightening. There are new types of flat irons that have rotating brushes and such that will harm your hair less if you must use heat on your hair.

However, blow drying your hair, curling your hair, and straightening your hair all are very hard on it making your hair brittle, which means it will break easier, and less likely to grow quickly.

Another bad thing to do to your hair if you are trying to grow it out quickly is to color it. Bleach is hardest on your hair since it kills your hair and strips it of the nutrients. If you want to grow your hair out long whatever you do, do NOT bleach you hair. Coloring your hair another color is also hard on it and I would not recommend it if you are trying to grow your hair out longer fast.

Hair products are another thing you have to be careful with. From your shampoo and conditioner to the hair spray that you may or may not use (not using is better for the health of your hair) I cannot give you a guide of this shampoo is okay to use for your hair and this one isn't. This is because I use an all natural shampoo, and that is it.

I don't use conditioner and because I do everything I can to keep my hair healthy naturally it is soft and shiny. You can do this too by incorporating as many of the grow your hair longer fast tips that I have put in this article.

I cannot talk about the best styling products to sue either, I don't use them. I don't use heat on my hair, I don't style it with anything, and I have never colored or bleached my hair. So i will not say anything but I know that these things are not conducive to growing your hair faster.

How To Grow Your Hair Faster The Final Notes

You are here because you want to know how to grow your hair faster but growing your hair out really long will take a while, but having healthy hair can be the difference between it getting to the length you want in 5 years or 2 years.

I hope you found this article on how to grow your hair faster useful. It may not be what some people where looking for.

A lot of people want a pill or treatment to grow hair faster. Personally I'd rather go the natural route, however, for a lot of people this just isn't realistic or what they want. You can go all natural or use products to enhance hair growth, either way these tips are still applicable!

Using a brush on wet hair DOES damage it. When the hair is wet it is more elastic, and if a brush pulls on it, it can snap mid-shaft.when your hair is wet always use a wide tooth comb to de tangle, and the comb also stimulates blood flow to the scalp. Another NoNo.. Wrapping wet hair in a towel and leaving it on for more than 3 minutes..same thing, as the hair dries, it shrinks and if pulled with tension during that process, it will break.

I have never heard about putting lime or lemon in water to make it live before! I drink about five liters of water a day but all from well water that we get from the tap. It sounds pretty tasty too, though I weirdly love the taste of well water.
