10 Must Have Looks For Men 2014

Updated on July 24, 2014

Mens Fashion

Summer 2014 is here and certainly in full force. As we head to toward the end of summer and beginning of fall, I wanted to share some great looks with you that every man should be wearing. I've been in the fashion niche for around 8 years and I've experimented with multiple styles over the years. After spending the first 6 months of 2014 researching all the different looks, I've come up with my top 10 looks for men in 2014.

Your going to see a wide array of products guys, varying in price range and elements. In simple terms, there's going to be a little bit of everything in this list. I know many of us could care less about fashion and clothing but I ask you to open your eyes and mind. Appearance is very important and we're often judged by it daily. Although men may not be big shoppers or up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, it doesn't mean that you can't dress to impress.

Mens Alligator Belly Loafers

Every man should own a pair of alligator belly dress shoes. I love the features and details of this exact dress shoe. This alligator belly loafer is made by Los Altos and is truly a premium shoe for your wardrobe. The beautiful multi-toned colors give this alligator shoe a trendy and classic look, remarkably designed. Multiple patterns cover the entire loafer which also includes a two small silver buckles.

These men's alligator belly loafers open the wardrobe and give you so many possibilities. We can certainly go with a casual look, no surprise for a loafer but you can go elegant and dressy with these shoes. You can wear these loafers to work, on the town or anywhere you need to go. These Los Altos loafers are truly a versatile shoe and that is great news for you.

Mens Manzini Shirts

There's two big things that I like about Manzini shirts for men. One, you get a high quality product. Two, Manzini shirts are usually under $100, which is not bad at all for the quality that your getting. Manzini is a big name in men's shirts and they have a wide slate of multi-colored shirts to choose from. I wasn't a big fan of Manzini until I bought my first shirt a few years ago. Yes, they do cost a pretty penny but you do get what you pay for.

Manzini shirts come in a variety of different types, they have a huge selection to choose from. Nearly all of their shirts go great with black slacks or pants. You don't get limited by these shirts men. Their comfortable, stylish and can be fitted for what ever need you may have. With fall quickly approaching, you can't go wrong here.

Giorgio Fiorelli 3 Piece Suit

Every man needs a quality 3 piece suit. It may be for work, public speaking, sports or church. What ever the reason may be, you need a go-to suit when the time comes. A cheap suit is going to set you back $100, give or take in both directions. For an extra $100 or so, you can get a high quality suit that is designed to last by a big name in men's fashion, Giorgio Fiorelli. Giorgio Fiorelli suits are high class fashion at a budget cost, well worth every penny you spend on them.

Giorgio Fiorelli 3 Piece Suit come in a number of different sizes and colors, you can mix and match as you wish. With a 3 piece suit, you get 3 pieces that can be used creatively to make a look. Gray, black, tan, beige, brown, navy, the list goes on. At some point in your life, your going to need a suit, might as well make it a good one.

Alligator Biker Boot by Los Altos

We've already talked about alligator dress shoes earlier in this article. Just like every man needs a great pair of dress shoes, every man also needs a go-to pair of boots. Once again, I'm impressed by this pair of alligator biker boots for men. This pair of men's boots appeals to those tough, rugged men, the same one that says that they don't care about what they look like. No shame in that. These alligator boots are tough, bold, rugged and stylish.

Again made by Los Altos. this is a high quality pair of boots that will set you back over $500 but longevity you'll have with these boots. I bought my first pair of Los Altos boots 7 years ago. I only wear them a few dozen times a year but they still look brand new. Los Altos provides high class, high grade boots for men and that is exactly what your paying for. You can get these boots in a number of different exotic skins, such as ostrich, stingray or eel.

Mens Vegan Leather Trim Sweater

Another big name in men's fashion is Lanzino. Lanzino is more of a second-tier company in the fashion industry but they still produce good high quality products at a great fair price. We're thinking about fall and winter 2014 with this pick and you can't go wrong with this men's vegan leather trim sweater by Lanzino.

I do like the natural, earthy-toned colors with this sweater. I think the leather trim gives it a finished look on a quality sweather. Lanzino sweaters can come in a number of different colors and designs, all super comfortable. When you think of a sweater, I know what your thinking, these are not like that. These Lanzino sweaters are lightweight. Best of all, you can get this one for under $50.

Men’s Black Shadow Striped Sport Coat

For all the business-savvy men out there, with winter only a few months away, it's never to early to get a high quality sport coat at an affordable price. This Afazzy blazer can be used in a work setting or a formal setting. The luxe material is plush and has a regal air to it. For those days where you want a classic look with a modern twist, this black blazer for men is perfect.

This Afazzy shadowed sport coat will set you back only $85 when all is said and done. Men often feel uncomfortable in suits anyway, we fill limited because of the feel of our suit. The last thing you want is another layer of clothing adding to the bundle. With this Afazzy blazer, you on't have that problem. This blazer is comfortable, stylish and affordable.

3x1 M3 Collister Jeans

Ever wonder why every man wears some type of jeans at some point? Nether does everyone else but they do. If your looking for high quality jeans, the 3x1 M3 Collister jeans will set you back over $350 a pair. These men's jeans are hot right now though and the designer has big credibility. Personally, I prefer BK, more in the $100-$150 price range. The good thing about denim is the fact that you can find then at nearly any price.

Scott Morrison has serious denim credibility as the cofounder and former designer of both Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn. His latest venture, 3x1, incorporates artisan details like single-needle sewing machines, custom Swiss zippers, and more than 260 fabrics—each from a different source—behind each pair. Although the off-the-rack collection is a study in fine jeans, the brand has a bespoke service for Morrison's true acolytes that creates a single pattern for each individual customer.

Gucci Bamboo Aviators

I wear sunglasses all year round and there's plenty of areas across the world that is getting plenty of sun all year long. Setting you back over $200 but worth every penny, we have these gorgeous Gucci Bamboo Aviators. There's several different styles and colors to choose from here. The Aviator series has a few different variations to choose from.

If Gucci is a little out of your comfort zone or budget, you may want to consider Native Eyewear. Both can be found on Amazon. Native will save you money and give you more of a sporting look if that is what you prefer.

Mens Graphic Tees

Graphic shirts are always popular with men. I expect nothing different heading into the last two quarters of 2014. From Nike to American Eagle and BK, you won't find a shortage of awesome graphic tees to pick up. Best part of it all? Most graphic t-shirts won't set you back hundreds of dollars, although they can. My example to the right is by Knock Out and only cost around $40.

This is an awesome medieval graphic t-shirt from Shop Big Time. I love the graphic work done on this tee. The sky is the limit on graphic shirts, short sleeve, long sleeve, hoodie, plenty of room to operate with.

Mens Cargo Shorts

It wouldn't be right to not mention some type of shorts since we still have a few months left of the short wearing season. As trends come and go, begin again, 2014 has been the year of beige/tan/brown cargo shorts. Nearly every manufacturer out there has shorts. Depending on your style and budget, cargo shorts can run you a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.

I love white tees with tan cargo shorts. It's a great summer and fall look. Throw on some sandals, shades and some specs, you have a good look going on. The tan cargo shorts can support a number of different colors and combinations.

How great to see some fashion tips for men - they don't always get a look in, do they! I do like the suits, but we are usually casual dressers and in reality the jeans and tee-shirts are more up my partner's street.

I chose the belly loafers, because good clothes on a good man fulfills the average expectation; but good shoes puts him over the top. I find the other looks, except that graphic tee, pleasing. Quite an exquisite assembly. Thanks for the ideas.
