A natural face wash should be prepared for dry skin. A paste consisting of 2 teaspoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil should be prepared and a smooth layer is to be applied on skin. This paste should be left on skin for at least fifteen minutes and washed with clear water.

Oily skin is very prone to infections and pimples. Hence chemical cosmetics should be avoided as far as possible. Prepare a paste with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of orange peel extract. Make a uniform layer on skin. Wash with water after twenty minutes.

A toner is an astringent liquid applied on skin to improve its condition and reduce any amount of oiliness present on skin. A natural toner which can be regularly used is highly recommended. Prepare a home made toner with 2 teaspoons of rose water and 1/2 cup of milk. Apply on face and wash after twenty minutes.

  • First, wash your eyes with plain water to remove irritants. Then apply aloe vera gel on your eyelids. Place two slices of cucumber on your eyes which imparts both coolness and freshness to your eyes. Take rest for 5 minutes with the cucumber slices placed on your eyes. Wash your eyes with clean water and wipe gently with a clean , soft towel.
