Looking good is directly related to how you feel on a day. There are days when we look our best, glowing skin, well done hair and then there are days when we look horrible. Taking care of oneself is the best way to thank God for giving this life.
I was in college when I learned this recipe from a beautician. Ever since then, I, along with my others friends have tried the face pack several times on occasions when we did not have time to rush to the salon and I must say, it did wonders to our skin in just ten minutes. Not only girls but anyone and everyone can try this face pack to get creamier and glowing skin.
It is very simple to make and the ingredients used are very easily available.
- Split red lentils (masoor dal)
- Split green grams skinless (moong dal-dhuli)
- Turmeric powder
- Gram flour (besan)
- Raw milk
Every ingredient used in making this face pack is rich in vitamins and nutrients that are essential for the skin. These ingredients are known for anti aging, cleaning, toning, scrubbing and moisturizing effects.

Make a powdery mixture
After bringing together all the ingredients make sure that you take the right quantity and I would suggest you to start first with little amount. The measurements are: Take one handful of rice (no specific brand, you can take any), one handful of split red lentils, one handful of split green gram, half spoon of turmeric powder, five to six almonds and two spoons of gram flour.
Mix them properly and grind them into a mixture. Do not add liquid to the mixture; let it be powdery and dry. The mixture is likely to be a bit granular but try to grind it until fine powdery mixture.

Now apply little cold water to your face and message it for five minutes gently. The face pack will also work like a scrub and clean your skin. It will remove black heads resulting in beautiful and youthful skin.
Once you are done messaging, then wash your face with cold water and wipe your face. You definitely see the difference in your skin texture as it will become much smoother and soft. Your face will look fresh and gorgeous. Now you are ready for any formal or casual meeting.
