Hopefully everybody has good hygiene, but of course there's always that handful who don't. So this has to be said. Wash Your Face.
Washing your face is essential to good beautiful, healthy, flawless skin. Why? We'll open your science books kids because it's time to learn.
Not only do bacteria and dirt cling to your skin, but on top of that, your skin sheds skin cells throughout the day and if you don't wash your face, all that dead skin will layer itself on top of each other. So basically bacteria, dirt, and dead skin are blocking your pores which creates acne. Yea, washing your face is a very important step.
Another important step is...Washing Your Hands. So think about it. You touch tons of things all throughout day that have been touched by other people, and you have no idea if they've wash their hands at all. So to avoid contaminating your face with more bacteria and dirt, like it really needs more, please wash your hands.
Now we can move on to the next step.
Now I'm sure that at least once in your life you've heard the term, Exfoliation. So what is exfoliation? It's pretty much just another way to get rid of dead skin cells, however 10x's better.
I suggest exfoliating your skin every 2 weeks, NOT EVERYDAY. If you do this everyday your no doubt going to damage your skin which will cause: dryness, redness, and irritation. Which are 3 things we want to avoid.
Now that you've figured out how often you want to do this. Your next question is probably: How does one exfoliate? So I'm going to tell you some of the ways I exfoliate.
- Grab your favorite essential oil. Ex: olive oil, almond oil, avacado oil, coconut oil etc...
- Grab some sugar.
- Mix both of those ingredients together to make a paste.
- Scrub on your face in circular motions using freshly washed hands.
- Rinse off with warm water.
- Walla! Now you have baby soft skin! P.S. This can also be used as a lip scrub.
That was just one of the many different ways to exfoliate, and also my favorite way. But do some research and find out the best way to exfoliate your skin type. You could even make your own!
Alright the next way to exfoliate is by using the Neutrogena Wave Sonic Spinning Power-Cleanser. It costs a little under 20$, but I'm not sure of the exact price. However, it works really good and leaves your skin healthy and soft. The down side is that in order to use it, you'll need to buy a pack of exfoliating pads every month which is about $6.00 at the most. So just in case your too lazy to go to Walmart or you don't have the money. Stick with the homemade scrub its free.
More Exfoliating Recipes
It may seem a little cliche, but belive me being healthy is a must if you want those pimples gone. That means eating fruits and vegetable and the most important *drum roll*... Drinking Water!
That doesn't mean be a vegetarian because if your anything like me you probably love sweets and meats. So take it slow, make goals. Do pretty much anything that will help you eat better.
Drink Water, I can not stress this enough. Make it your personal goal to drink water and it's not my job to tell you how much to drink, but drink enough.
On those days when little pimples decide to pop up, the best way to get rid of acne is by using natural products such as witch hazel. This product is actually used to treat people with skin diseases, but I won't tell if you don't.
Some of its benefits are...
- All Natural
- Cleans Skin
- No Itching
- Leaves Skin Mosturized
- Works for all skin types
- Gets rid of any acne no matter the cause
I STRONGLY recommend it. It's very inexpensive and it works like a charm. I mean sometimes I think they call it witch hazel because it gets rid of extreme acne, pimples, and zits like magic!
Getting Rid of Acne Marks
The second most common problem of any teenager is acne scars or marks. So during my acne desperation. I was willing to do and try almost anything in order to get rid of my acne and leftover spots from it and that's when I was informed about Nadinola. Nadinola is a cream that is mostly used as a toner, but it just so happens to bleach your skin as well. Why out of all the toners at Walmart did I choose that? Mostly because my great grandma used it and so does the rest of my family so it's kind of like a tradition. Once I bought it I looked up information on the product and looked at reviews and they weren't good, but I decided it's worth a try and it actually worked.
I do recommend this product, but eventhough it's worked great with my skin, everybody has different skin and it might not work for your's but if you don't try it you'll never know.
So that's just about all the knowledge I have in my brain about preventing and getting rid of acne. I really hope this works for everybody who reads my article. Comment below and tell me what you think about my article or some things that work for you. Thanks for reading.
