Some of the prominent signs of a rapidly aging skin are dullness of skin tone, lack of skin moisture, rapid formation of tiny creases on the dermis and the appearance of spots and dark marks.

If you absolutely refuse to spend most of your time taking care of your skin, you can try the following tried and tested quick fixes:

1. Lemon juice and turmeric concoction.

Lemon juice is what you need to slough off dead skin cells clinging to the walls of your pores, improving skin glow and reducing dark pigmentation spots. Citrus juices are also ideal sources of Vitamin C. This vitamin works well in harnessing the production of elastin in your skin.

Mix a quarter cup of lemon juice with a teaspoon of turmeric. Turmeric has natural healing properties. This spice is also packed in antioxidants that can fight harmful free radicals.

Apply this liberally on your face after washing and leave it there for 15 minutes. Do this trick once or twice a week for best results.

2. Rice and cold cucumber

Soak half a cup of organic rice in a cup of water for a few minutes. While waiting, slice 1/4 cold cucumber and blend it. Mix the organic rice in the blender until it turns into paste.

Apply this skin-rejuvenating paste on your skin. Rice bran contains squalene, a natural collagen booster. It also helps lighten up your skin and reduce pigmentation spots. Cucumber soothes tired skin. It also works in lightening age spots.

3. Mix activated charcoal with rose water.

Skin tends to look tired and old because of chronic exposure to pollutants and smoke. One way of removing the toxins and airborne pollutants that your skin might have absorbed is through the use of activated charcoal. Mix it up with rose water to form a paste.

Apply this on your skin gently. Leave it there for about 30 minutes before washing it off. The activated charcoal will effectively draw out impurities in your skin.

Taking care of your skin should be done on a daily basis. But this does not have to take a lot of your time. It can be a part of your routine. You don’t have to spend a lot of money either to treat tired and aging skin.
