All Natural Handmade Soaps

Updated on February 20, 2013

There's nothing as nice as taking a bath or shower and using handcrafted soap. There are plenty of handmade soap products for sale, all of which are made by hand, using the best natural soap ingredients.

They're great for your skin - and great for you. They're a touch of luxury, a moment of indulgence and why not? We work hard, we lead busy lives and being able to pamper ourselves just a little with something as simple as a gorgeous organic soap is something that we deserve.

Many of my clients love knowing that the products I use are as natural as possible, gentle on their skin, gentle on the world around them. I'm often asked which is the best all natural hand soap and so - the five best handmade soaps are featured below. Indulge yourself ... you're worth it!

Handmade Provence French Lavender Egyptian Geranium with Rose Clay, Crushed Flowers and Shea Butter Soap

This is the best handmade soap for sale - and it's utterly luxurious and fabulously indulgent. It's one of my personal favorites, as well as being a consistent best seller - and the proof really is in the pudding.

The lather is rich, creamy and soooo natural and the fragrance is light - yet heavenly. The whole soap bar is 100% natural, 100% handcrafted and the secret ingredient is the wonderful Shea butter ... which is a great natural moisturizer.

Free from anything remotely unnatural - heaven in a bar - and crafted exactly as a homemade soap should be. Well worth the price tag.

Handmade Florida Citrus Sunshine with Mango Butter Soap

This is the best natural handmade soap that refreshing - and revitalising. It's full of citrus fruit ingredients - lemon, orange and grapefruit, as well as some wonderful essential oils that are so good for the skin - coconut oil, palm, sesemae and vegetable oils.

Then there's the hydrating mango butter - which adds moisture as well as locks it into the skin. The soap bar is devine - it's smells, feels and lathers up to a wonderful creamy fruit salad that combines to become one of the best handcrafted soaps for oily and/or acne prone skin. Great handsoap for the face and body.

All Natural Goat and Coconut Milk with Honey and Oatmeal Soap

This is one of the best handmade soaps for those looking to restore the balance to skin that's been affected too much one way or the other - too oily or too dry. Goat milk soap is known for being able to balance out Ph levels due to it's own low alkaline properties.

It's a great soap for sensitive skin and despite the types of oils used in the manufacture - of this and the other recommended products - it's surprising how much it lacks an oily feel to both the lather and the soap bar. This one uses 100% goat milk, nothing manufactured, and it also includes just enough oatmeal to create a slight exfoliating property - which is great for sloughing off dead skin cells. Creamy, all-natural and 100% gentle.

Handmade Goat Milk Soap - Dead Sea Salt with Kelp Powder

Like the previous handmade soap this one's made from 100% raw goat milk - plus it has a bit more exfoliating power due to the dead sea salt. If you have dry, rough skin patches or skin that needs a little more polish due to sun damage or general day-to-day living - this is the soap to go for.

It's creamy, with a light tantalizing fragrance, nothing over powerful or overbearing about it, you can feel the moisturizing properties and it leaves you feeling thoroughly cleansed after use. This is a great handcrafted soap to give as a gift - the Ph will suit most people and its gentle yet luxurious cleansing power will delight any recipient. Plus at under 5 dollars it's affordable yet still indulgent.

Oatmeal Almond 100% Pure & Natural Aromatherapy Herbal Soap

This is another of the best handmade soap bars for sale - and another that's incredibly inexpensive. This one's based upon an oatmeal and almond combination, as well as a range of wonderfully good oils - coconut, olive oil, and palm oils.

The soap bar is cold processed - meaning that at no time in the manufacturing process are any of the ingredients exposed to heat, which helps hold onto their powerful natural properties and also promotes the natural production of glycerin. This is good for those with dry skin types - though it's a handcrafted soap that will suit just about any skin type. Affordable, wonderful for the face and hands and smells great too.
