Alpinestars Gloves

Updated on January 23, 2010

In the midst of a motorcycle ride, it is important that you have gloves that can actually do a good job of protecting you from the cold, and not have gloves that won't stand up to temperatures below freezing. Most products are of an inferior quality. Most gloves are the same way, and most motorcycle gloves are as well. So what's a person to do?

Well, for one thing, find the best deal that you can on the best motorcycle gloves that you can find. So how do you do that? Well, I have saved you some of the work in that regard, because I have looked at many types of gloves, and many gloves companies, and found the best ones that I could find.

I am sure that you have some questions. I will try my best to answer all of these questions throughout the space of this hub. First of all, you are probably wondering what some of the decent glove manufacturers are. I know that I can answer that question without any trouble. The answer is that the best glove manufacturer that you can find for a cheap price is Alpinestars.

There are a ton of racing gloves out there, but Alpinestars really over-delivers for the price that their gloves cost.

So let's look at some of these gloves, and we will see what they can do for you.

These are street racing gloves that will really hold up against anything that you can throw at them. They use carbon fiber knuckle protection, which will keep your knuckles from getting scraped up or worse if you ever have the misfortune to crash. They also have silicone printing on the fingertips of the glove for an increased grip that will keep your hands from slipping off of the gloves while you are trying to drive your motorcycle. They are also lightweight, and they certainly hold up well to any conditions that they are put in.

The price is a bit more than you would pay for a complete beginner's glove, but it is well-justified by the fact that it is such high quality.

I really like the orange color on these gloves, and there are several really nifty features that come with these gloves. Alpinestars says that these gloves come with "three-quarter length, full-grain leather and air mesh construction with synthetic suede palm with leather reinforcements for improved grip, comfort, protection and reduced weight."

What this means for you and me is that these gloves won't burn your hands up when you wear them. That sounds like a pretty sweet thing if you ask me. They also come with "micro-injected finger knuckle protection with additional side palm and finger protection" and "carbon fiber knuckle protection, profiled for fit and impact dissipation."

As you can see, these gloves are very technological. I would recommend them on that basis alone.

Don't think that I have forgotten the ladies when it comes to motorcycle gloves! Of course, Alpinestars has not forgotten about the need that women have for motorcycle gloves either. This glove is made of genuine leather, and it will 100% protect your hands as you drive. There are also rubber pads in the palms, designed to prevent abrasions in the palms.

I believe that this is a pretty decent motorcycle glove for the price, and you would be well off to buy it.
