Back to School: Unique and Personal Bags

Updated on July 16, 2012

It's that back to school time of year and students everywhere are flocking to big box stores to find that perfect bag be it backpack, tote or messenger bag. That bag has to be able to lug heavy textbooks, protect hundreds of dollars worth of electronics from laptops to iPods and withstand weekends shoved in the back of the closet or stuffed with snacks on an impromptu road trip. On top of all that it has to be unique and reflect the personal style for the person using it. Unfortunately upon arrival at the local Walmart or Target most are faced with three options: a solid black bag devoid of personality, the generic Jan sport backpack that 75% of your classmates will be sporting or a too small back back that would never fit your books and is emblazoned with the image of your little sisters favorite Backyardagin.

But with a little searching online will be sure to turn up the perfect bag that can meet all it's storage needs, be so unique that it's the only one like it on campus, and fall within your budget.

Thanks Motherbynature I hope you and your kids find the right bags for school. There are literally 100's to choose from online. I remember being a teen and hating when a classmate had the same backpack as me so I totally get it.

I think this hub is right on time. I have 2 very picky teens who think plain backpacks are embarrassing. The pictures and descriptions are very cool. Thanks.
