Are you tired of using facial scrubs that are out in the market which promise to exfoliate your skin leaving them soft and renewed, but still haven't done any great results on your precious face? Maybe it's time to go natural and see for yourself the benefits of homemade facial scrub. These ingredients can be easily found in your kitchen plus you can save money and energy from the hassle of going to beauty shops to find the right facial scrubs for you. So bring out your pen and list the top things you need then rush to your kitchen afterwards. Good luck!

  • Baking Soda and Facial Cleanser

Apparently this is the most versatile ingredients found in your kitchen. You can use it for baking, whitening, as a shampoo and cleaning agents. Aside from them, it can also be as effective as your expensive facial scrubs out in the market, with this one, it just costs only few pennies.

Step 1 : Wash your face with lukewarm water. Squeeze few amounts of your facial cleanser into your palm.

Step 2 : Mix baking soda with your favorite facial cleanser then massage it onto your skin in circular motions. Concentrate on dry areas such as, around the nose, your forehead and chin. Do not rub too hard as baking soda may sting or irritate your skin. Rinse off immediately if that's the case.

Step 3: Rinse off the facial scrub for seconds. Pat dry with clean cloth. Use it once or twice a week as part of your beauty regimen. This method will make your skin smoother for longer use.

  • Sugar and Facial Cleanser

Sugar can also be used as your homemade facial scrub which helps rejuvenate your skin making you look better than ever! Any type of sugar will do ( brown, washed, or white). Once you applied, it reacts with the upper layer of the skin which releases dead skin cells making them exfoliate.

Step 1 : The same procedure mentioned above, wash your face with lukewarm water. Pour a teaspoon of sugar of your choice unto your hand and mix it with your favorite cleansing foam.

Step 2 : Apply them gently on your face and massage in circular motion for about 2 minutes.

Step 3 : Wash off facial scrub with cool water and pat dry with clean cloth. It's good to apply facial moisturizer afterwards.

  • Coffee and Olive Oil

Choosing the right kind of coffee is one of the important steps in preparing coffee facial scrubs. You can usually find either whole coffee beans or those coffee already pre- ground and packed at the supermarket. Grind the coffee beans but not too fine in order to preserve the benefit achieved as a facial scrub. Studies shown that coffee grounds greatly affect anti-inflammatory activity and heals skin wound.

Step 1: As the number one rule, wash your face thoroughly. Mix the coffee grounds with 1/4 cup olive oil and it must look like rough mud.

Step 2: Start applying the facial scrub by rubbing them gently unto your face. Massage it into circular motion as gently as possible to avoid damage to your skin.

Step 3: Rinse thoroughly after few minutes of massaging. Use moisturizer after.

The next time you run out of money or if you prefer natural methods for your beauty regimen, you can always try making facial scrub at home. You can also try experimenting and swapping out ingredients until you create your own scrub that suits your skin and preference. I hope I helped you a lot girls!
