Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste - Available is available light, medium and dark for every skin tone's under eye circles and blemishes!

Do you suffer from unsightly under eye circles? Sometimes it's impossible to get rid of them naturally, but you'd be shocked at what you can do with a high quality under eye brightening concealer paste.

I have porcelain skin and definitely have my share of mornings that involve holding my breath as I wait to see what the mirror will reveal. According to my food allergist, my under eye issues are mostly due to allergies. While I have seen them improve with diet (some days they're almost gone!), I still do regularly use a heavy duty under eye brightening concealer.

This little gem is called Erase Paste by Benefit Cosmetics and I absolutely love it. Read on for my Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste review and find out if it should work well for you!

My Skin Tone

I try to keep my skin as porcelain as possible. As I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate my clear porcelain skin and have discovered it's easier to find makeup that looks natural, rather than switching between golden products in the summer and fair-skin products in the winter. Because I have blue skin undertones, my under eye circles get DARK on their darkest days. This can be due to allergies, lack of sleep or a night out on the town.

I use Benefit's Erase Paste in light. There are three shades available, the other two are medium and deep. My mother has a darker, olive skinned complexion and the light was a bit bright for her all by itself. However, I would imagine that light would work well for a majority of women needing an under eye brightening concealer as our skin allows our under eye circles to really stand out.

If you don't like the idea of spending so much on one product, then you may want to try Benefit Cosmetics Confessions of a Concealaholic. This kit is a great little deal that comes with free shipping as it is fulfilled by Amazon. You get to sample all of Benefit's best selling under eye and blemish concealers in one neat little box that also comes with concealer brushes. The only issue here is that this kit unfortunately only comes with medium Erase Paste, so if you need light or deep, you probably won't use the concealer. It does include tons of other products that work for any complexion including: That Gal face primer, Lemon-Aid eyelid primer (evens out veiny blue eyelids), Boi-ing "industrial strength concealer" in light and medium, and Eye Bright.

My Favorite Cheap Concealer Brush That Works

Application of Erase Paste

Application is easy. The product does come with a little spatula, however I prefer to dab just a bit on the tip of my little finger or on the end of a concealer brush. Then, all you do is gently dab into your skin to ensure the product is absorbed and not just moved around. There is also a handy little insert that comes with Benefit's Erase Paste in case you're not exactly sure what to do or are looking for more tips on how to improve your concealer coverage!

Overall Impressions of Erase Paste

I love this stuff. While one little container retails for $28.00, I've had mine for almost a year and I still have plenty left. Some things to know:

  • A little bit goes a long way, which adds to the value of this thick high quality concealer.

  • If you use any under eye concealer and have dark circles - you MUST moisturize.

  • I carry the container with me for touch-ups, although I find that the product really stays in place. If I put it on at 8am, you won't find me putting it on again until 8pm before I go out.

I love Erase Paste! I, too, have had it for over a year and still have plenty. It was well worth buying. I have tried other concealers, and this is the best. Thanks for the Hub!
