I am Liam, a soldier, sports enthusiast, motorcycle biker and a huge fan of leather. I love to travel, write about my travels and my life.

Why Leather Driving Gloves?

Men (and some women) sure love their leather driving gloves. Not only that they are an amazing fashion accessory, they also give additional grip while handling the steering wheel of your car. Many people think of drivers with leather gloves as weird, and having maybe a strange fetish or as those who want to appear posh and snobbish, whereas some other people ask themselves why one would even need leather gloves while driving, since many think that they do not offer additional grip of the wheel while steering the car.

Speaking completely direct and honestly, I love my leather driving gloves and wear them (almost) all the time, since I just love the feel of leather while steering such a big machine as my car. But I do not wear them in the heat, since I feel that my hands would sweat too much and of course I would not be able to have a great grip of the wheel while sporting sweaty tight leather driving gloves.

I do not use my Leather Driving Gloves only for driving …

Do not be mistaken that leather driving gloves can be used only for the purposes of driving a car. The comfy feeling and the soft leather on your hands make these gloves a perfect choice for all leather lovers whenever they feel like wearing leather. I wear my driving gloves even in the spring and autumn when I am out, since the made holes in the gloves make it possible for my hands to breathe better and not perspire. I just love the grip these gloves offer me and I will more sexy and have a higher self-esteem when wearing them. Another good feature of these leather driving gloves is that I can combine them with just about anything – from elegant pants to jeans and leather pants.

Granted if you decide on wearing men's leather driving gloves for other purposes than driving, you may be getting an odd look or two from the people around you, but soon no one will care and many will just give you props for choosing to wear leather driving gloves while out on the town. Do not be afraid to be different and to have your own fashion style.

What kind of Leather Driving Gloves to get?

People usually do not get themselves gloves to protect their hands from the cold, whereas some may have a fetish for gloves, while others wear them because they actually enjoy wearing gloves while driving their cars or riding their motorcycles.

Some guys may prefer cut leather driving gloves, which are fingerless or semi-fingerless leather gloves. In my opinion such gloves may look stylish and cool, but they are not much functional, since they are not completely in leather and as such do not offer any actual additional grip of the steering wheel. I have one pair of such leather driving fingerless gloves, but....

Well, honestly, I prefer full sized men's leather driving gloves. I love the feel of tight leather gloves on my hands while driving my car. I just love the feel of leather on my steering wheel, and to be completely honest, I love how I look with my leather driving gloves while I'm driving. I know, a bit egotistical, but hey, everyone has his or her own thing.

Are Men's Leather Driving Gloves even popular?

Well, if they were not, you wouldn't probably be visiting this website and reading this. It seems that not many people are use to wearing leather gloves while driving, but if you think it over better - how many times did you get the chance of observing what others wear while driving, unless you were in the car with them, of course.

I'd say that about 10, if not even 20 percent of all people love wearing leather gloves while driving and if you haven't tried them on yet, be sure to do so and then you can decide for yourself if you enjoy driving with your leather driving gloves on.

Why use Leather Driving Gloves?

Driving with Leather Gloves in the summer?

Yes, I am also one of those guys who enjoy driving their cars with leather gloves, even in the summer. I tend not to perspire that much, so I don't feel bothered by leather gloves on my hands in the summer. Of course I use my short leather driving gloves with holes in order to get a better and firmer grip of the wheel. And yes, I wear them because I enjoy the feel of leather on my hands when I'm driving, you could call that some sort of a fetish, if you wanted.
