What could you buy for $5000? Maybe some car, furniture, new kitchen, or.. watches. I would say that 5000 dollars is a really nice chunk of money and if there are people who are willing to spend those kinds of money on something like this, then I would like to see their cars :D.

OK, now seriously, it's a lot of money but it's actually far from the most expensive watches anyway. I'll probably also get to these watches later on with my hub series on this topic.

Whatever high this price might look, I found again a huge amount of people talking about their experiences with watches in this price range. They're usually very satisfied and happy with their purchase because it's not an astronomical amount of money. That means that they can enjoy the feeling and status that gives them having a watch not really accessible to most of the population, while at the same time not worrying too much about accidentally breaking or losing them. Of course it would be a pity but, you can imagine how worse it would be if it were a $50,000 watch.

So what are the best watches under $5000 in my opinion?

TAG Heuer - Grand Carrera

When looking through watches that would fit this price tag of 5000 dollars I've come across a lot of interesting and very nicely designed watches that would impress probably everybody.

Finally, I decided to go with the luxury TAG Heuer - Grand Carrera, because I simply loved the design they have.

Here are the specs:

  • case material - Brushed Black Titanium PVD
  • case diameter - 15 mm; thickness - 14 mm
  • width of the band - 21.5 mm
  • movement: Swiss automatic
  • water-resistant up to 100 meters
  • Black dial with luminous hands and stick hour markers

The surface is of course resistant against any scratches as well.

Clean Look Beautiful and Elegant Watch By Omega!

When I first saw this watch I was glad that I finally found something that is vastly different in the typical design of watches for men. The main difference I find in the way how the designers were able to combine shik elegance with a slightly sporty style. You can definitely wear them comfortably and without worries to either important business meeting or your favorite sports activities.

Christian Dior - Christal Diamond White Dial

This is what I found to be the best watches under $5000 designed for women:

If you've already decided to invest so much money in your new watches, I would like to get you into attention this watch buy Christian Dior. As you can see in the picture on the right, the design is very interesting and the polished dial. You can get it for something around $4730.

Specs:

  • unidirectional rotating bezel
  • water resistant to 50 meters
  • stainless steel round case with diamonds and sapphires
  • it has also stainless band decorated by white sapphires along it
  • with of the band is 15 mm
  • case diameter: 33 mm; case thickness is 10 mm
  • scratch resistant scratch resistant sapphire crystal

It is a very nice piece of luxury watch, definitely worth considering.

That's about it. I hope you liked my selection and if you know about any better watches that would fit in 5000 dollars, feel free to tell us about them in the comment section.
