Guide to Best Women Jeans

Updated on February 13, 2012

Trends in jeans ware change every season and for 2012 there are some trends that have been around for a time, but have evolved over time. Some jeans styles go way back but reinvented for this season. And since jeans never really never go away, what's hot with denim now is as hot as it ever was. Here we look at the hot trendy jean styles you want to be seen walking the town in 2010.

Skinny Jeans

Starting with everyone’s favorite, the skinny jeans! Although skinny jeans have been around for a while now, these are definitely here to stay.

Skinny jeans work with anything and everything so it's no wonder that every girl has countless pairs of these jeans. Make sure you have a few pairs for spring in lighter colors.

Skinny jeans are a favorite with famous women such as Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham, Megan Fox and Abby Clancy.

BF Jeans

The BF jeans or boyfriend jeans are another favorite this year. Many women are undoubtedly enjoying their men's clothes because of how comfortable they are. Thus, the boyfriend jeans emerged.

One of the many jean trends we have seen from past years, the idea behind these jeans is that women were always borrowing their boyfriends' pants for that comfy, worn-in look, so manufacturers started making their own. Now there are BF jeans that are more tailored for the ladies that are both comfy yet trendy.

Ripped Jeans

Damaged on purpose, The Ripped Jeans. Now here's a trend that has been reinvented. Ripped jeans have been around since the 90's era and are now back fiercer than ever.

Ripped denim is a completely casual look that you can make chic with the right top and accessories, or keep it on the grunge scale with sneaks and a baggy top.

Some jeans come in skinny ripped form that are ultra stylish yet can be paired with almost anything to go from being laid back to party ready.

Embellished Jeans

More is more, The Embellished Jeans -  More appropriately, overly embellished jeans is making a rage today.  Some designers adorn their jeans with pockets worn and torn. While other collection showcases  denim fabric and flower embellishments. Jeans bedecked with rivets, zippers, chains and prints are also very hot in 2010.

Cloudy Washed Jeans

The new acid wash, the cloudy washed jeans - The acid wash has been around during the 80's however 2010 introduces another kind of acid wash which is more like making patches of small white clouds on your denims. These are what is known to be cloudy washed jeans.

Washed jeans can look great with almost any type of shoes including flats, flip-flops, heels, and boots. Pair them with a tank and voila! Super chic!

A pair of jeans are a fashion classic, a staple in everyone's wardrobe. This year has so many great styles, that if you invest in one now, you may even use them even in the next five years.

Once you find the type of jean that fits you, it will keep you looking good for a long time.
