Halter top bras come with only one strap.  Its support comes from the strap around the neck.  The garments used are usually made of light and cool materials.  And since the shoulders are free of straps, there is more freedom of movement.

Give me comfort anyday, I'm sufficiently mature now not to bother most times.

I guess this is important for many women.

      Well done, Beats Me

Hi Katyzzz, thanks. I hope you're wearing a comfortable one. :) It should be important because we have to wear a bra all of the time but I think most women don't give enough time to choose what's right for them. Thanks for coming by. :)

Great article beats me. A lot of the bras these days are great for about 3 washes and then the elastic loses its firm support and you are always falling out the bottom or not comfortable at all.

Hi Eileen, I usually have no problems with a bra's elasticity if you bought it in good condition. But then, I handwash them. Maybe you wash them in washing machines, they'd lose their elasticity pretty quickly that way.

And yes, I agree, once it loses its elasticity, its pretty uncomfortable and also doesn't give you the support you need anymore.

Hope you get a better bra next time. Handwashing does prolong the life of a bra. :)
