If your looking for a unique tattoo theme for your tattoo, you may want to consider having it done in camouflage. Camouflage tattoos are not mainstream by any stretch, but there is a popularity for this tattoo theme. Camouflage can be added to nearly any tattoo symbol that you want. This is not to say that it will look appropriate, but it could be done. There are a few different variations that could be included in the camo themed tattoo. There are also a few tattoos that are commonly portrayed in camouflage.

Camo tattoo designs are generally worn by three distinct groups, soldiers, hunters, and anyone from the backwoods. As mentioned above, if there is a particular tattoo symbol that you want, it can probably be done in the camouflage theme. Camo tattoo meanings can very depending on what tattoo symbol is being portrayed. In some cases, camo tattoos represent the aspects of the wearer.

When it comes to common camouflage tattoos, we find that most of them represent the United States Army, National Guard, Marines, and Navy. Common symbols that would be found in such tattoos are boots, helmets, dog tags, uniforms, and rifles. These types of camouflage tattoo designs are very symbolic to the wearer. They represent them, their heritage, their journey, their family, and their love for their country. Any combination of symbols that represent all three could be used and designed in the camo theme.

Camouflage tattoos could also be worn by hunters. Instead of the military aspect, these camo tattoos often represent the hunter and their passion for the sport. In most cases, the deer is portrayed. Buck tattoos designed with a camo theme are one of the most common. The buck is usually portrayed as it normally looks and camo is added to the background. These types of camo themed tattoos may portray a lot of camouflage or very little.

Another popular variation of camo tattoo designs portray the wilderness or forest in shades of green, brown, black, and white. This type of camo landscape tattoo can portray trees, plants, rocks, waterfalls, streams, creeks, rivers, or lakes. Many of these tattoo designs portray camouflage leaves on the trees. These tattoos are quite beautiful and some require a lot of detail work and shading.

The camouflage theme is also popular among country boys and girls. These types of camo tattoo designs are usually unique and commonly represent the wearer in some way. You may see a camouflaged Rebel flag or "Redneck" done in camo. I have even seen "Country Boy" and "Country Gal" done in a camouflage theme. You may want to go with a quote, phrase, or old saying. If you are wanting a camouflage heart, get it done. Any symbol that you want can be done in the camo theme.

There are a few things that you want to remember before you get your camouflage tattoo or any tattoo. Make sure that you take the time to research your tattoo. Make sure that you fully understand what your tattoo represents and stands for. Since camo is only a theme, your tattoo would take on the meaning of the tattoo symbol being portrayed. However, in the end, your tattoo symbolizes what you want it too.

Don't rush to get inked! Men and women that rush to get inked usually have regrets about their tattoo later on down the road. Don't make this same mistake. Make sure you do your research and choose a tattoo that you really want. You don't want to go through the process of laser removal and cover ups.

If you feel that camo tattoo designs are not for you or you want to view more tattoos, please feel free to follow the links set below. As always, thanks for your visit.

Although this is versatile in being added to any tattoo, I don't ever recall seeing a camo tattoo. Perhaps among military folk, they're more common. Voting this Up and Beautiful.
