Celebrity Hair Extensions - 18 inches to Fabulous

Updated on April 10, 2013

There are several ways to add extensions for either volume, length or both. There are sew-ins, glue-ins, fuse-ins, and everyone's all-time favorite, clip-ins. Clip-ins were made famous by Paris Hilton. In fact, I remember seeing Paris' clip-in brand being sold in Sally's Beauty before many of the other celebrities jumped into the hair extension business bandwagon.

Long, Luscious Layers

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and others made 18 inch extensions the most sought after hair length between 2009 and 2012. Everyone lusted over those long, luscious layers that these ladies were famous for wearing. But for most, getting 18 inch extensions was either too expensive or too time consuming. And, without hiring a beauty professional, hair extensions can be hard to put in. Clip-ins made this process a lot easier but the maintenance and upkeep of clip-ins can become a nuisance over time.

The Solution Slides In

Slide-ins. Put-ins. Hey...whatever we want to coin them. Just know that they provide the easiest and less damaging way to add extensions to our hair. These hair extensions are as easy as slipping on a headband and walking out of the door. Best of all, anyone can do it. No need to spend hundreds of dollars (or hundreds of hours) at a beauty salon.
