Celebrities and their Chanel 2.55 or classic flap handbags

Updated on March 12, 2012

A Chanel handbag is highly sought after among women of all ages. This brand has several classic styles that are easily recognizable by those that love handbags. Out of all the classic handbags, the Chanel 2.55 and classic flap bags are very popular among fashion lovers. In this hub, I will introduce you to the Chanel 2.55 and classic flap bags through photos of celebrities with them. These two styles come in either caviar or lambskin and lots of different colors.

The classic black quilted Chanel flap bag – This is one of the most recognizable and desirable styles in the house of Chanel. It goes with everything and makes your outfit look very professional. If you want to get just one Chanel handbag, this is the one to buy. Depending on personal preferences, you can pick between silver and gold toned hardware. Both look fabulous; but I prefer the one with the gold toned hardware. Here are pictures of celebrities with this handbag.

The classic beige quilted Chanel bag – This beige Chanel bag is highly sought after by many women. Aside from the black quilted Chanel bag, the beige Chanel is the second most iconic color. This handbag will go with dark outfits.

The bright red quilted Chanel classic flap bag – This handbag is gorgeous and goes with many outfits. Nicole Richie sports the bright red jumbo quilted Chanel with her black outfit. This is a really gorgeous match up and will turn heads for sure. This handbag is great for those that like to wear dark colors such as black and just want a small pop of bright color. The bright red handbag makes a refined outfit look trendy.

The purple quilted Chanel classic flap bag – This is a gorgeous and feminine color that is best wore by a very beautiful lady. Mischa Barton sports this handbag with a mostly black outfit. This handbag is gorgeous and can be a great addition to your Chanel collection. I would not recommend this as the first Chanel handbag that you buy.

Victoria Beckham's vintage Chanel classic flap bag – A classic vintage Chanel bag is highly desirable in the world of fashion. Victoria Beckham loves high fashion; she has a very extensive Hermes Birkin handbag collection. This vintage jumbo Chanel is gorgeous with professional attire and gives a great impression.

Limited Edition Chanel handbag – This is a limited edition Chanel handbag that Mischa Barton sports on several different occasions. This is a collectable piece that you can resale for a great price. Although it would not be the first Chanel bag that a woman wants to purchase, it is a great addition to any fashionable woman.

Metallic blue purple Chanel 2.55 handbag – When your budget for handbags and other items are limitless, you can add a metallic blue purple Chanel 2.55 handbag like the picture below. In addition to lighten up a dark outfit, you can also wear it with a gorgeous evening gown.

Baby pink classic Chanel handbag – Nothing is more feminine than a pink handbag. The pink Chanel bag that Tara sports in the picture below is absolutely gorgeous. With her light pink suit, she is going for a highly feminine look. Due to the lighter color, you have to be very careful about stains getting on your handbag. Nevertheless, this is a very chic look.

The ice cube Chanel – Kim Kardashian sports the ice cube Chanel bag with her green dress. Although I don't personally like this color, it can be great for someone that loves shiny handbags. It goes well with outfits that are also light colors.
