Coastal Blush Too Palette

Updated on January 9, 2015

Hello loves! So I would like to start this article off by saying, I love trying new products and when I saw the Blush Too palette from Coastal Scents I had to try it. Coastal Scents is a company that makes affordable makeup for anyone, which is nice. You can find everything you need to build up your makeup collection on a budget. Now that you have a little background on Coastal Scents lets get into the review!

Blush Two Review

The Blush Too palette has ten different colors ranging from light pink, orange, purple, and brown. There are a lot of pros to this palette. The biggest one is convenience, it is easy to travel with and has a good range of colors. Another pro to this palette is the colors are highly pigmented, which honestly can be looked as a con too. Who wants to look like a clown when wearing blush? So when putting the blush on remember to tap the brush off and use a light hand. It is always easier to build up color than it is to take color away. I feel like this palette could last for a long time because the fall out isn't that bad. The price can't be beat. It is only 14.95 and I love the black plastic case. Also, some of the colors are sheer, matte, and some have a pearl finish, which is super pretty. Lastly it lasts all day.

On to the cons. Every product that has pros has to have cons, that's just how it works. The biggest con for me is that there are some colors, such as orange that I will most likely never use. The purple is gorgeous, but in reality, I'm not sure if I will wear it out. I have tried it though and it would look lovely on a darker skin or even a very fair skin. The browns are not the prettiest colors and will also go unused by me. That said, it is a palette and like every palette it is easy to say there are going to be unused colors. When you see the picture on the site it looks like the colors are lighter and more wearable. I got the palette because of the very first color looking, almost white. I was going to use it as a highlighter, but as you can see the first color is a pretty pink.

So all in all I feel like this blush palette is a good investment. The price is right for what you get and I actually think you get more than what you pay for in this case. If a friend asked me, I would defiantly recommend this palette.
