Cotton Panties For Men

Updated on October 12, 2009

Cotton Panties

When it comes to women's lingerie, cotton panties lie on the borderline between femininity and innocence. A great many men who wear lingerie wear satins, silks and nylons for sheer sensation, but cotton is also popular in spite of the fact that it is not ostensibly the most sensual of materials. Why? Well, cotton has its own charms, as we shall discover in this piece.

Cotton panties can be excellent panties for men who want to wear women's lingerie styles, but do not want to obviously wear women's panties. The cotton used in women's panties is usually much finer and softer than that which is used in men's underwear, so by wearing women's cotton panties a man can enjoy a little of the lingerie sensation without obviously wearing a pair of women's panties. Should he be caught out, he can even feign ignorance with a decent chance of being believed.

Those with a concern for the environment will enjoy wearing organic cotton panties, which are grown from organic crops and unlike nylons and many satins, come from entirely natural produce. Whilst enjoying the feeling of a nice bikini cut, hi cut, thong or brief, a man who wears lingerie can also enjoy the inner satisfaction of knowing that he is protecting the planet.

White cotton panties are the most popular of all cotton panties, perhaps because there is something pure, innocent and entirely sweet about white cotton panties. Men who seek an essence of the feminine in their lingerie may enjoy white cotton panties for their simplicity, or for the way that wearing a pair of white cotton panties makes them feel lighter and more innocent.

There is a world of difference between white cotton panties and the traditional men's 'tighty whities' which are the bane of many a lingerie aficionados life. However, as I mentioned earlier, one can always get away with swapping the tighty whities out for some nice white cotton panties without anyone being the wiser.

Cotton panties also have the advantage of being a cheaper than more ornate items of lingerie. If you're on a lingerie budget, investing in some cotton panties can be a great way to experience the thrill of women's lingerie without breaking the bank entirely.

Cotton blends abound too, making it possible for a man to find a pair of cotton feel panties which also have some of the trimmings that he might expect from a pair of sexy women's panties.

Go forth and explore cotton panties!

I love cotton! In this South Carolina heat it is best. I do sometimes like the microfibers though.

Since my wife and I lost weight I've inherited some of her cotton panties. Some are pretty printed, but I've hopes of her personalizing some white ones with embroidery...

I am an 18 year old guy who has been wearing panties for about seven years now. I started off by trying on a pair of my mother's nylons while folding clothes and since then i haven't stopped. while my favorite style is high cut nylon briefs, i do enjoy going to the feel of my cotton hipsters. they are soothing and comfortable, and most definatly better than my male underwear that i wear in public. My family doesn't know about it yet, but mabey someday i will get up the urge to tell them. till then its only done in the privacy of my own room or with one of my female friends that support it. I also have a couple of bras, and i try on my sister's clothes when noone is home.

Cotton panties are what I started out with and I still like them. I have tons of cotton panties though I'm starting to build up on nylon panties now. You can only wear cotton for so long.

I care not for cotton, is it more absorbent? I don't know. Are they Hanes or Bounty?LOL Do they dry faster? Nope, they don't. As an avid caver and survivalist, be it under ground or trecking a snow capped mountain, if it's cold out, the layers of clothing closest to the skin are micro fiber blends that wick moisture away and dry faster to help keep body core temperature stable. It's Nylon breifs for me covered with support hose for my base layer in the cold.

It's nylon or man made spandex lace the rest of the time. Nylon's slip and slide action prevents chaffing while riding horses for hours on end, nylon lycra knee high stockings provide the same slick barrier between your feet and foot wear on long back packing trecks as well as taking up extemely less space in your pack for spares on a multi-day expedition.

Now if it came down to tighty-whiteys or cotton panties well panties will win every time.

I like the high leg on the third pair but the waistband is a little high for the pants I wear. I'm from a generation that wouldn't dream of showing waistband above my pants. ;-)

Now, my skirts usually sit a little higher. . . hmmmm

My first cotton panties were purchased as a clearance item. At $4.99 for a package of 3 plain white high cuts, I bought a package just to try them on. It was in addition to my regular lingerie order from Sears.

After wearing them a few times I found them to be a nice change from my satin or nylon panties. I definitely enjoy wearing them and these days I now have sexy multi print cotton panties that are part of my panty drawer. When I'm going to wear cotton underwear, my favourites have to be the various coloured cotton panties with the lace elastic waistband. Sexy, sensual and very comfortable. I highly recommend cotton panties. I have also been wearing poly cotton nighties over the winter for the warmth factor..very practical.

Thanks guys, as Mikki astutely noted, I am not a fan of cotton, but then again, it isn't about me, it is about you, the lingerie wearing males I write for... and it is possible that cotton may not represent undergarment hell for all of you, hence this article.. I am sincerely glad you enjoyed it..

Good write up Hope! I happy to see you have come to understand the value of cotton (I know you have a personal distaste for the material in your own lingerie tastes) panties! One other facet of cotton is thermal regulation... they breathe much better than satin and microfibers if you live in a hot climate and dry very quickly following exertion. They are an integral part of any wardrobe and perfect as a light, cute and often sexy daywear option.
