Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara in Blue Review
Coloured Mascara!!! We all love a very black mascara to make our lashes longer and more voluminous. We love to curl our lashes and make our eyes pop out to show their beauty. Colour mascaras can give a new dimension to lashes and eyes. They are wearable to the office, not just the clubs or a night out on the town with your man.
I love a good coloured mascara! I enjoy wearing blue mascaras but have not found one to my liking. In Canada, not many coloured mascaras are available. I came across in a small drug store a Cover Girl Lash Blast in Blue in the orange tube. I had to grab it PLUS it was on sale from $9.99 down to $5.99. I seem to only buy mascara on sale, it's too expensive to buy otherwise. I used to get Clinique's High Impact deluxe samples in black all the time before I moved to Canada and rarely purchased mascara in general. I now don't have that luxury so spending $9.99 is expensive to me for a drug store brand mascara.
Review: This mascara is great! Its a pretty blue that shows up and brings out my dark brown eyes. It looks great with neutral shadows and liners but I LOVE to pair it was pinks, blues, greys and purples. Instantly makes my eyes pop. You need to layer this mascara like you do with other Cover Girl Lash Blast mascaras. I even apply clear mascara so give volume before applying my mascara and it makes my lashes stand out. Honestly, this coloured mascara would be worth paying $9.99 for. The tube lasts a long time and doesn't dry out and clump as fast as other Lash Blast mascaras seem to.
The big wand is great! It is able to get all the small lashes in the corners, even though by looking at it you wouldn't think so. It grabs all the lashes and applies the smooth, silky mascara to the lashes evenly.
Now I have to see where I can purchase this from. I hope that Cover Girl will continue to make it in blue and maybe add purple, teal and green to it's coloured mascara line. I see that on CoverGirl.ca that they are offering the blue mascara in a blue tube and it's called LashBlast Fusion Mascara.
