Cure Natural Aqua Gel - Japan's Best Kept Beauty Secret. Does it Really Work? Product Review

Updated on March 22, 2012

Now I know why they say that this is Japan's best kept beauty secret!

Cure Natural Aqua Gel is a very gentle skincare gel that helps to remove dead skin cells. It is good for people with all kinds of skin types, including those with sensitive skin (like me). After one use, I was really impressed. After using Cure for a few months now, I have decided that I ought to share my discovery here on Hubpages.

What is Cure Natural Aqua Gel? It is basically a water-based gel that exfoliate your skin. When we think of exfoliation, we often think of little exfoliating beads that we rub into our skin to take away the dead cells using friction and rubbing. Cure gel achieves better results in a more gentle way.

Cure is actually 90.66% water based. It contains ingredients such as Aloe Vera, which is not for its natural healing, whitening and moisturizing properties, Gingko Biloba Extract, which helps to moisturize the skin and prevent age spots and freckles, Rosemary Leaf extract, which has high antibacterial qualities, anti-inflammatory properties and helps to prevent acne.

If you have dry skin or sensitive skin that is acne prone, Cure is suitable for use. In fact, you can use Cure on any part of your body. Besides using Cure on my face, I use it on my elbows, feet and hands, where I have dry skin, and Cure worked beautifully. It didn't cause any redness or peeling, or drying afterward. One of the places that i used Cure on was on my arms, where I had a few scars that were comprised of thickened dry skin that had hardened. Within a week, I realized that the dead skin was coming off even faster than before. My scars (those with thickened skin) are beginning to look so much lighter, and they look like they are finally going to blend in with the surrounding skin once again! I daresay that Cure is one of the best things that I did for those scars. In fact, using Cure before i used Elicina and Mederma Creams helped to make those creams work even better.

One thing to note about using Cure is that the skin must be dry first in order for the product to work. You should also store Cure in room temperature, not in the refrigerator. Using Cure before your normal skincare routine helps to increase the absorption of your skincare products.

Are you wondering if using too much of Cure might result in removing too many skin cells? I wondered about that too, when I accidentally squeezed out too much one day. I went to check it out, and this was a question on the instruction sheet that came with Cure (possibly asked by some who got too carried away and enthusiastic about using Cure!). Thankfully, unlike exfoliating and soaps that can damage your skin if you rub too hard or use too much, Cure only removes dead skin cells, and it does not react with protein either.

If you go to Cure's website, they say that one bottle of Cure is sold every ten seconds! Now that is quite something! One squirt of Cure is 1ml. One bottle of Cure Natural Aqua Gel contains 250ml of gel. So here is the math

One face wash = 2 - 3 Squirts of gel (lets use 3 squirts for a less conservative estimate).

No. of Uses = 250 / 3 = 83 Times thereabout

If use Cure 2 times a week, no. of squirts a week = 2 x 3 = 6 squirts.

No. of weeks 1 Bottle of Cure will last = 250 / 6 = 41.6666 weeks thereabouts = around 10 months

If you use Cure for other parts of your body, it might not last as long. However, although I use Cure regularly, I tend to use small amounts on small areas each time. My bottle has worked marvelously but there is still so much left to use, which is not a complaint.

If the cost of Cure is a problem for you, and you want to try some of the samples to make an informed decision, I suggest you try some samples first, which are found on ebay.

Are you a fan of Cure Natural Aqua Gel? If you are leave a comment! If you haven't tried it before, it is definitely worth trying. I am not a beauty junkie, but when I tried the tester in the store, and saw how it worked.... I just had to try it. And after a few weeks of using it, I wish I had found it earlier!

This product is really good and is great for your face. It is also good for sensitive skin compared to the harsher grains used for exfoliating. Also, really good for dry skin anywhere on your body and will soften your skin. A little pricey but a bottle will last for awhile if you only use what you really need.

      Hi sminut13!

Thank you so much for dropping by! I do really love this product, however, if it is used for eczema, I am not sure what the results would be like. Suggest you check with the dermatologist. I have eczema on my foot, but I have not used this product regularly on eczema, as it is meant for exfoliation. When I tried once, nothing bad happened, thankfully.

However, I found this video on youtube, of someone who has eczema skin (on her face) who loves Cure. You can watch it around 7 min 50 secs. Funnily though, she looks like she has beautiful skin.

I found another video about Cure and eczema. This girl has more trouble with Cure.

Perhaps you should check with a dermatologist before recommending this for your daughter.

I know that flaxseed oil helped me personally, and urea cream also helped me. I do hope you find something that helps your daughter. Eczema is really no fun to have at all, especially when it itches so bad and doesn't look nice at all!

wow, if it really works as you've recommended, then i'm going to buy it definitely. not for me though, it's more for my daughter who has eczema, and thus has dry and sensitive skin.

i just wonder if i can find it in the shops that i know of. i'm definitely going to be looking around for it, i do like products with aloe vera in it, as it does have wonderful medicinal properties.

i just hope it works as well on my daughter. just a question, does it reduce itching too?? i would love it if it does. thanks so much for sharing. this was really informative.
