Safe Tanning Tips, Prevent Skin Cancer

Updated on March 14, 2017

Safe Tanning your Skin

Many people heard of the controversial Tanning Mom that kept tanning herself in an addictive way in tanning beds daily, called Tanorexia. The Tanning Mom got arrested for trying to put her young daughter in the tanning beds also.

Sources say that celebrity Jennifer Aniston has two tanning beds in her home, there are other celebrities that also use tanning beds to try and get a golden complexion. Other celebrities that have a bad influence on the general public when it comes to using tanning beds: Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Simon Cowell, and other celebrities.

Natural sun light has vitamin D that absorbs through the skin for better health, but sunlight is required 15 minutes a day to get a healthy daily dose of vitamin D. Skin cancer can be formed from the "dangers of tanning beds" and from the use of long hours in the sunlight. This is why it is very important for people that like tanning long hours to visit a Dermatologist often, to check for pre-cancerous moles called Melanoma.

The dangers of tanning beds can also cause pre-mature aging which eventually cause wrinkles.

Some celebrities have an image to withhold and they don't want to look pale, but they should try using other methods of getting a golden brown tan appearance. They just have to make sure the tanning product that they choose is not an orange tan (like Donald Trump) . . . eeewww.

Other Ways of Tanning

  • Spray Tanning
  • Rub-on Tans
  • Bronzers
  • 15 minutes Sunlight daily
  • Tanning Lotions

There may be other ways of getting your skin to appear tanned; ask a Dermatologist the best forms of keeping the skin tanned other than the use of tanning beds. I've heard of people taking tablets orally to get their skin to look tanned (Melanin pills) . . . . hummm

If there's a water-proof tanning product choose that during summer hot weather, to prevent perspiration and tanning cream running down the skin.

But anyway, stay healthy and know the facts and dangers of using tanning beds. The Ultra-violet rays in tanning beds have radiation just like a microwave oven.
