History of Dingo Boots

Almost four decades ago Dingo Boots were launched into the market as reasonably priced cowboy boot. The younger generation embraced this new hip line of footwear and even though we all recall some of those hideous fashion of that decade the Dingo label has held steadfast among fashion-conscious boot wearers. Dingo boots quickly garnered a reputation and brand image as a leader in casual western style footwear for men and women. Part of their branding strategy, which was common with many fashion products of the day, was to enlist the endorsement of popular sports celebrities. Those who were best know to sport the Dingo label included: Joe Namath (see the Classic TV Commercial below), Joe Montana and of course the now infamous OJ Simpson (see vintage poster photo below).

Dingo Boots Today

Dingo boots are still made today and can be found in a wide variety styles, designs and colours. In the footwear world the Dingo brand is synonymous with excellence whether you are shopping for functional or recreational footwear. Men's Dingo Boots are most popular in the traditional cowboy style and they also come as a motorcycle boot. These boots seem to retain their popularity and almost cult like following due to their quality but also their timeless fashion. You can wear a Dingo with practically anything and it works. Of course the classic and timeless is the cowboy look when worn with a pair of jeans. Women's Dingo boots are also very popular and can be matched with jeans as well as many other outfits. Dingo slouch boots are very popular with ladies.

It doesn't matter if you're at the office, at a nightclub or riding a motorcycle Dingo boots will get you there in style and they're comfortable too! From harness boots to western fashion, Dingo has the look. Western looks are hot and Dingo has a great collection of vintage inspired western boots. These boots go perfectly with blue jeans or blazers. Of course if your a Modern Day Cowboy then a pair of Dingo Cowboy Boots is definitely the most stylish thing you could possibly wear!

Good stuff Paul. I've still got my Dingo's and yes I got them 30 years ago! I have to admit they really aren't vintage so much as just old well worn cowboy boots!
