Do You Have Bags and Dark Circles Under Your Eyes? Try Hydrolyze and Kinerase Ultra Rich Eye Repair!

Updated on February 21, 2010

There's nothing worse than waking up in the morning and looking in the mirror…only to have dark circles and bags staring back at you. Not pretty, to say the least. Thankfully, there are many skin care products on the market today that you can use in order to diminish (and hide!) both dark circles and under eye bags (puffiness). Caring for your skin (no matter how old you are) is VERY important. So what exactly causes dark circles and bags to form in the first place? I'm glad you asked!

There are many reasons as to why you may have dark circles and or bags under your eyes. The way you live your life plays a major role. For example, if you smoke, don't get enough sleep, eat poorly and don't drink enough water…well, unfortunately, you will probably have skin issues. Allergies and heredity can play major roles as well.

Dark Under Eye Circles

Many people inherit their dark, under eye circles. However, before you burst into tears and blame your mother, there are many things you can do and many different skin care products you can buy that will actually reduce the darkness (thank goodness!). Unfortunately, the area under the eyes is, well, for lack of better words, a waste area. Yes, you read that correctly! The area under your eyes actually collects and stores bodily waste products….hence the dark color. Lack of sleep is one of the main reasons for under eye darkness. When you are sleep deprived, your body is not able to drain and circulate fluid properly, therefore, waste builds up and boom…you have dark circles. Believe it or not, yoga and other forms of exercise work wonders on the skin. If you combine a regular exercise program and a good skin care product (such as Hydrolyze)…you can, in fact diminish or get rid of dark under eye circles all together (drinking plenty of water also does wonders for the skin!).

Puffy Eyes

Just like dark circles, there are many reasons why bags form under your eyes and yes, lack of sleep is definitely a main cause. However, heredity and allergies are also major factors. If you believe you have allergies…but have never been treated for them, it would be a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor. Treating your allergies may reduce your under eye bags. If you are in need of a quick fix…simply place green tea bags that have been soaked in water on your eyes and lie down for ten to fifteen minutes. If you don't have any green tea bags, try a couple of cold potato slices. If possible, stay away from salt, soda and unfortunately, caffeine as these items can also cause bags to form.

Great Products to Try!

First of all, no skin care product works over night! Trust me, if there was a product on the market that got rid of bags and dark circles in only eight hours…I would know about it and of course, I would be using it! As with any skin care product, you must be patient and allow the product to work. Hydrolyze is a popular under eye product. Not only does it diminish dark circles, it reduces under eye puffiness as well. Not sold…no problem! Hydrolyze offers a free trial…can't beat that!

Hydrolyze revitalizing under eye treatment claims to stimulate collagen production which is a good thing if you want to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. They also claim that individuals who used Hydrolyze reduced the appearance of their dark circles by 45%. Not bad. Study volunteers also claimed that Hydrolyze was able to diminish the look of under eye bags by 68%. They also claimed that the area around their eyes appeared younger and brighter.

Kinerase Pro Therapy Ultra Rich Eye Cream

Another great eye product to try is Kinerase Pro+ Therapy Ultra Rich Eye Repair. Though it is a bit expensive if purchased at the cosmetic counter, you can find this product online for less (don't you just love the world-wide-web!?). Pro+ Therapy Ultra Rich Eye Repair is a wonderful moisturizing eye cream that isn't just for eyes…you can use it on other areas of your face as well. This fragrance free cream has wonderful ingredients including antioxidants, water-binding agents as well as ingredients that actually communicate with your cells and reinforce the structure of the skin. I'd say it's worth a try!

As I mentioned before, NO skin care product works over night. In fact, it may take weeks before you actually see results. The key to skin care is patience and consistency! It is very important that once you begin a skin care regimen…you follow through with it! Taking care of your skin is very important. The earlier you implement a skin care regimen into your daily routine the better! Good luck!
