Dove tattoos can be designed in a variety of different ways. The tattoo designs on the right are a great example of the various designs that are available. The dove is usually portrayed with open wings in most dove tattoo designs. The dove is also often portrayed with the olive branch as well. The dove has been a symbolic symbol for thousands of years. The rich symbolic history of the dove makes it a great choice for a tattoo.

Dove tattoos may also be designed in a detailed realistic way or it may have a cute cartoon look. Women usually tend to choose the dove to be portrayed in a cute manner, a soft design per say. Men who wear the dove tattoo usually chose a dove that is very detailed. With all the different variations available, it gives you plenty of options that may just be right for you.

Since dove tattoos are done in various sizes, they can also be tattooed nearly anywhere on the body. If your looking for a small dove tattoo, you can have it placed basically anywhere. You could get your dove tattoo inked on your stomach, back, arms, legs, chest, ankles, shoulders, side, hips, or wrist. Even with a large dove tattoo, you still have plenty of options. Dove tattoos look great in any size. It all just depends on what you are looking for in your tattoo.

There is a lot that you can do with dove tattoo designs. Dove tattoos can be designed with flowers, stars, or butterflies. If you wish, they can be designed with a variety of different things. It just depends on what you are looking for in your tattoo. For example, if you are looking for a tattoo to dedicate to your children, the dove tattoo can be just that. Since the dove tattoo can represent "family", you may want to choose a dove tattoo with your children's names under the dove.

The dove tattoo can also represent a "new beginning". I know this can relate to many of us as we all travel down new paths in life. Maybe you are tired of the way your life is going and you are looking for a fresh start. The dove tattoo can be symbolic of that. Doves are also a symbol of love. A dove tattoo can be used as a tribute or dedication tattoo to someone special in your life. You may want to add ribbons, vines, or artwork to your dove tattoo also. Taking the time to view all the different dove tattoo designs will help you out tremendously. Pay close attention to all the details in each design and if you see something you like, make a note of it.

There are some important things that you should remember before your choose your tattoo. Make sure you take the time to research your tattoo. Pay attention to what your tattoo design means and represents. You don't want a tattoo that represents something totally different then what you first though. Don't rush to get inked! Most men and women that get a tattoo on an impulse usually have regrets about it later on down the road. Take your time, do your research, and make sure you are completely sure about your decision. Thanks for your visit.

I am an avid bird feeder. The Doves come, but they never attempt to feed on the feeder, they are content to eat the droppings left by the little birds. I make sure that i leave enough for them on the ground. If i ever got a tattoo, it would be a Dove..Thank you for sharing Ricky..

I don't know if one should use the word "adorable" a tattoo but that first one certainly is and looks like it should be on a children's book. Voting this Up and Beautiful.

Yeah, absolutely beautiful, real catcher. I think that sometimes meaning overpowers the image itself.
