A Vogue Summer Style

Are looking for inspiration for your summer wardrobe? Want to know how to dress in fashion on summer days? Look no further than the summer romance of crisp cottons teamed with florals. According fashion bible Vogue, this is how to guarantee you dress in fashion this summer.

As an avid Vogue reader I am keen to keep on top of emerging styles and this romantic pairing really appeals. So whilst searching to prepare my own wardrobe to be dressed in fashion, I have put together a few key pieces that create the look perfectly. Now you too can dress in fashion by following this fresh and floral summer trend. Take a look at my choices; they have been guided by the word of Vogue know how!

The floral scarf

An easy way to start integrating this trend into your current wardrobe is by wearing a floral scarf. A floral scarf can add summer sun to an autumn outfit, so is a great connecting season accessory. Vogue used the floral scarf in this trend to tie around the neck under a cotton shirt, or tied around the waist as an alternative belt for your faded blue jeans.

Crisp Cotton

 The Cotton shirt

The cotton shirt is a classic fashion staple that is comfortable, cool and chic. This trend aims to shake up the classic denim and white combo, by combining the shirt with the floral scarf. Or mix up a traditional preppy ensemble of cotton shirt and chinos by adding a flirtatious floral scarf and chintz floral bracelets.

To create this practical summer look, you need the basics. Here is my choice of cotton shirts that will help you to achieve the it.

Chintz

The floral shirt

If the crisp boyfriend shirt isn't for you, try a bud covered blouse, perfect for teaming with denim or khaki's and representing the whole essence of this style; the collision of florals and function. You could even enter the green zone and try organic cotton shirting!

Dress in fashion - wear organic!

Function

Jeans and Chinos

When looking for your perfect pair to dress in fashion this season, go for worn in, mannish cuts to combine with the pretty florals. Straight legs, wide legs and turn ups are all styles that are comfortable and great for the relaxed, lived in look. Pale distressed denims are the colour of choice, whilst chinos are off white, cream or stone.

Dress in fashion - think function.
