3 Beauty Emergency Quick Fixes Found in Your Office

Updated on June 24, 2012

The worst beauty emergencies take place in the midst of your busiest hour at work. You're too far away from your purse -- or your home -- to really do anything about it. If you're caught between a rock and a hard place, here are a few emergency beauty products in the office for you to use.

Oily Face

When you're facing an issue such as this, you may be wishing you had brought your oil blotting sheets. Don't fret -- Just grab a toilet seat cover from the bathroom! It's a quick solution and achieves the same result. You can now go forward with a shine-free face today!

Mirror, Mirror

There's nothing worse than speaking with someone at work and wondering if your face is in order. You can keep everything in check without diving in your purse every 5 minutes.

Anything with a reflective surface on your desk area will be fine. This can be the side of a stapler or a calculator screen. Better yet, the screen on your smartphone or iPhone works perfect, too! (my fave)

Rubberbands are great for a non-typical use outside of creating a ponytail. If you have ever worn tight jeans or pants to the office, then you know how uncomfy they become after a great lunch.

You can simply use the rubberband create an 'extension' for yourself. Take one end of medium-large band, and wrap it around your button. Pull the other end through the opening where the button inserts, and then wrap it on the button.

Unconventional, but it gives you a little breathing room as you complete your work!

Hopefully, these quick fixes add a bit of ease to your fast-paced work day and keep you at your best!

Some good little tips here - thanks.

The elastic band one is very good; never thought of it as a way to relieve a bloated tum!

Thanks, bridalletter! These are the Top 3 that I use often. That's a great idea for keeping a drawer filled with the essentials, too!

Those are helpful. I always kept a drawer with the things needed to freshen up. 10 hour work days always end with makeup rubbing off and a shiny face, so I like your tips.
