Homemade Face masks for exfoliation

Updated on June 5, 2016

Who doesn't want younger looking skin that is dewy, supple & radiant?

Cleaning the face on a daily basis is a really useful routine that provides a clean and healthy complexion. Facial cleansers and masks have tiny beads that eliminate the dead layers, and cleaning bases and moisturizing creams leave it hydrated.

Exfoliation is a very important and main step if you want glowing and smooth skin. It’s recommended to exfoliate skin two to three times in a week to get radiant and healthy skin.

How To Use Coffee For Skin

Integrating coffee in your beauty regime is easy. Here are some of the simplest ways of using coffee in your beauty recipes: Exfoliation is an important step to keep your skin clean and smooth.

Homemade Coffee Scrub for acne and cellulite

Coconut Oil + Coffee Grounds = wonderful, aromatic exfoliator!

Coffee face mask: 3 tbs of used coffee grounds and a small glass of milk. Mix together into a paste, apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes. Then wash it off, pat your face dry, and apply moisturizer!

This will gently firm and tone your skin, minimizing pores and sloughing off dead skin so the fresh new skin underneath is revealed. Those with dry skin will want to follow the facial with a moisturizer.

Mix 1/4 cup used coffee grounds and one egg white, combining well. Massage gently onto face, then allow to dry. Rinse off with warm water.

Coffee mask

Milk is antimicrobial/ cleansing properties.

Cocoa powder softens the skin/antioxidant properties.

Honey -firming, softening, and exfoliating properties.

Coffee Grounds as Body Scrub? What Else It's Used For

Do-it-yourself facial

No need for high-end (and high-priced) spa treatments to get your skin glowing.

Indulge in a coffee grounds facial to soften the delicate skin on your face. We love this mocha-frappuccino facial mask.

Simply mix together these ingredients:

2 tablespoons freshly ground coffee (or used grinds)

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

3 tablespoons milk (whole), heavy cream or yogurt

1 tablespoon honey

Massage this chocolatey delicious mask into your skin in the morning for a quick perk up.

Allow the mask to dry for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse it off thoroughly.

This delectable mask will help tighten pores and remove oil. The coffee grinds will help reduce puffiness and swelling, while the cocoa, honey and milk will add moisture to your skin. Who'd have thought your favorite beverage could do so much beauty goodness?

This homemade scrub is made of ground coffee, sugar, honey, and lemon juice. It has worked really well for me and I use it once a day. The coffee makes it a rough scrub so you're going to want to wait a while before you put anything on your face afterwards or your face will get irritated. After you use this you can also use a toner to clean your face, then put ice on it to close your pores then moisturize. Can be used for your whole body and on your legs to make your legs soft and smooth.

How to get rid of Cellulite

Do coffee ground wraps daily!

They will help you in the battle with cellulite! They speed up blood flow to your cellulite areas and make your skin smooth and elastic. They are also cheap and easy to apply on your thigh cellulite, so if you want to get rid of cellulite on back of thighs this the best way.

Homemade coconut oil facial scrub

Homemade coconut oil facial scrub Using equal parts of baking soda and coconut oil creates the perfect exfoliating homemade facial scrub.

Coconut Oil… It is one of the most used natural beauty ingredients as it is great for your skin as well as your hair. Coconut oil have numerous benefits when it comes to beauty, so use it in your daily beauty routine for gorgeous skin and hair.

Coconut oil has become a popular ingredient in many beauty products, and has become the staple ingredient for many beauty-conscious women around the world.

Using coconut oil for skin is an all-natural way to eliminate many of the toxic ingredients that are found on drugstore shelves, as well as a cost-effective way to care for your body.

Over-the-counter cosmetics may contain questionable ingredients. But extra-virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil is safe, non-toxic and high in lauric acid, an antimicrobial well suited for cleansing your skin.

If you want the softest, clearest skin, use these together!

2tbsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp coconut oil and enough water to make a paste is enough for your neck and face. Scrub for 3 min then rinse with cold water! Immediately saw a difference. Smaller pores and glowing skin! And the coconut oil moisturizes your skin for you!

I use a scrub of baking soda and coconut oil every few days. On the days in between, just coconut oil. I use tiny amounts - a pinch of soda, and a bit of coconut oil the size of a pencil eraser. Wash in gentle, circular motions and rinse very well. Your face may seem oily afterward, but within a few minutes the oil is absorbed and your skin is glowing.

Coconut Sugar Scrub

Coconut Sugar Scrub And the best part, it is as simple as using ½ cup of sugar per ¼ coconut oil mix the two together completely and rub your hands and/or feet with your new high class-all natural moisturizer.

Lemon and Egg Facial

Have red splotchiness on your face?

Soothe both symptoms away easily by mixing together one egg yolk and the juice of one lemon into a paste. Cover your face with it and leave it on overnight. If this seems like too much work, leave it on your face for an hour. You might not get the optimal results with this amount of time, but you will see a difference.

Looking for a good facial scrub/exfoliate?

Take a lemon, cut it in half. Dip one half in sugar, then scrub your face and lips.

Affordable homemade face scrub ingredients every do-it-yourselfer should own

Mix in a teaspoon of baking soda to your facial cleanser to make it an exfoliating cleanser. Or make a paste of just baking soda and water, gently rub it onto your skin and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off. Also a few teaspoonfuls of baking soda added to your shampoo once per week will remove any styling products that have built up in your hair.

Smooth And Clean Skin

Rub Mix 3 almonds, the zest from 1 lemon, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and 1 tsp of honey in a food processor or clean coffee grinder. Massage mixture onto face , leave for 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
