Fashion Nova Review

Updated on March 2, 2019

Fashion Nova -Is it Worth It?

Fashion Nova is a newer clothing store that is extremely popular on Instagram. Many celebrities publicize it as well. But is it worth it?

Fashion Nova is strange when it comes to cost. Some items can seem over priced, and some are priced really fairly. It’s really hit or miss. However, Fashion Nova has sales on ALL THE TIME. And quite often, the sales will be for 30% off and sale items can be up to 80% off. Sometimes they even do free, overnight shipping.

To continue on this topic. Shipping time can be a factor in your consideration on whether or not you want to get involved with Fashion Nova. I am Canadian first of all, so I can’t speak for the United States. The shipping rate is not bad. It’s 6.99 USD which is about 10 dollars Canadian. The shipping time though, really ranges based on whether your ordering at busy time of year. I once ordered around Christmas and it took months to get to me. ( Although Canada post was on strike, however I did order another time of the year and it took the same amount of time.). Sometimes it takes only a week or two though. What you need to do, if you want your order and get your package sooner, is order before 1Pm California time, and they should send out your order that day. From that time on, it will depend on how far you are from their location. They also don’t ship on weekends. For best results, order on Monday before 1 and even in Canada, you could get it by Friday or early the next week. They also let you know on the website, when they’re back to normal and shipping quickly after some “ rush hour”.

The quality of the clothing is pretty good. Some things are made better than others. The jeans are known for their quality and ability to make your assets look good. ( However, it is true you need to already be working with something). Overall, the quality is better from many other clothing stores and that is reflected in many prices. Even the lingerie is decently made! I’ve purchased several sets myself.

This is where I find a problem. I feel like they don’t re stock their clothes as quickly as they should. There have been plenty of times I have wanted to order, and decided against it because one or more of the items were sold out of my size or just in general. They only hold your items for ten minutes while you’re checking out because it goes so fast, and if you’re not checking out, some items can be taken from your cart. When the item you want is there, don’t hesitate. Things go quickly and sometimes they don’t re stock for a while!

Is Fashion Nova Worth It?

Well, I shop there way too often. I can’t even tell you how much I have spent. However, a lot of what I’ve bought has become staple pieces in my style. Fashion Nova is my favourite shop, and if you can get past the items selling out quickly, and the sometimes long wait for shipping, then you’ll likely love what you receive.
