Five Things You Can do With Salt

Did you know there a re so many things you can do with salt? Salt is not just something you can use to flavour your food. You can use it for so many other things.Here are five things you can use salt for:

1. Cleaning your teeth

Did you know that if you mix salt with a pinch of lemon juice you can use salt to whiten your teeth.

Well now you know, so next time you run out of tooth whitener just reach for your kitchen cupboard.

2. Bathing

You can use salt to bath in, sea salt is best. All you need to do is pour three cups of sea salt into

running bath and relax. It helps to relax your muscles as well as cleanse your skin.

3. Tooth Ache and Mouth Ulcers

Place a teaspoon of salt into a cup of warm water and swish it around your mouth if you have a toothache

or a mouth ulcer. It will help soothe the pain and reduce the swelling. Do it two to three times a day.

4. Sore Throats

Put one teaspoon of salt into a cup of warm water and gargle three times a day if you have a sore throat.

5.Body Scrub

Don't despair if you run out of body scrub. You really don't have to look much further than your kitchen cupboard.

Mix a cup of salt with warm water until it forms a paste. Rub the mixture over your entire body and rinse off. Your skin will feel as good as new.

      I wrote a Hub article about salt as well - it' is sooo ignored in that we forget how precious salt is - - imagine food without salt? bleh.... salt scrubs...... gargles - - Yay salt!
